Let us begin with 2 Peter 2:20 up to 22. These three verses will not fit most Christians, who live a decent moral social religious life, and yet do petty sins. So, if you are such a person, you might as well skip these verses, since these will not apply to you. "20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning." The pollution of the world refers here to sin. If you have stopped sinning, it must have been by the power of the holy Spirit in you, and God is also involved in it. So, by the grace and blood of Jesus Christ, you are delivered from the addiction of sin. If you are such a person, then this verse belongs to you. Now, you are free from sin. But if you get indulged in sin again on purpose, and got addicted again, you can never escape from that addiction, because the power of God will not be available to you again. God accuse you saying that you have regarded the work of God, which delivered your addiction, as a cheap thing. Let us see a couple of examples from Hebrews. "6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame." And "10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." These three verses are almost the same, and God has inspired them through Peter as well as Paul. It says that if you will entangle again in sin, after God has delivered you, it is because you have no regard for the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and so, you will be rejected permanently. Again, it will not apply to you, if you have never stopped sinning and overcame sin. Please refer this link for detailed study. Link is Unpardonable. "21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them." However, the preachers of Satan have reviled at these verses, twisted them, and have rejected them. So, most Christians consider these verses as nonexistent; that is, in a way they are saying the word of God is not true. So, it is up to you whether to believe the word of God, or to believe the interpretations of the preachers of Satan. "22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." These people, who have escaped the addiction of sin, but backslid are compared to dogs that eat their vomit, and to pigs that are back in their mire. So, it is up to you to stand strong against the temptation of the devil an keep yourself.
"2 Peter 3:1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: 2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:" The Spirit of God wants to stir you up if your mind is pure, to remember the commands of the Lord Jesus Christ preached by the apostles. That is, God assures you of the certainty of the judgment of Jesus Christ that is coming against the false preachers, and to save you, if only you want to escape the deceivers and to follow Jesus Christ. "3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation." Even though false preachers are scoffers walking in their own lust, these guys that I know of, are not talking against the coming of Jesus Christ. Instead, they are jumping ahead of the gun and say that Jesus Christ will come at any moment, without referring to what the word of God says. "5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:" Now we know because of our modern scientific study that the earth is standing out of the water and in the water. The actual percentage of water and land in the whole world is that the earth is just 29%, and the water is 71%. The water is twice as much as of the land. The bible says this all the way long. "6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:" It refers to the time of Nova, that the earth was destroyed by water covering the earth by the flood. "7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men." So, even though the earth covered by 71% of water, God says that he will destroy the world with fire and fervent heat.
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Yes, God is very meticulous about few things, look into them with many details, but ignore many other things. So, if God gives importance, it is important; and if not, it is not important. "9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Slackness is a word for laziness, but it is longsuffering here since God waits with patience, so that a few people may come to repentance. Example is, "1 Timothy 1:16 says ... it is for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. 2:4 says, Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." But it is not to say, that all people will come to repentance; and most of them will die as sinners, as in 1 Peter 3:20 that all except Noah were destroyed in the flood. And "Revelation 2:21 says I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not." So, most of them will not be saved despite the longsuffering of God. "10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." Please listen to the coming of the Lord as a thief in the night. The presence of God is throughout the universe all the time. So, the term that the Lord will come is that God will make us to know his presence. God will do that for many reasons. He may give us his Spirit, he may give us a caution or warning, he may give us a chastisement, and for such reasons he may make us know his presence, and we may think that God has just visited. But this context is huge, and it is the destruction of the entire world. So, God has given us the time when it will happen, in many scripture verses. But preachers are ignorant of it, or they do not want to let you know, since it is a good talking point or preaching point to say that God is coming at any time. But, the end of the world will not happen for another 2100 years, according to the bible, even though preachers threaten us or excite people saying that it may happen at any time. They make use of such verses for their talking point, even though they know that it is not true. What all such verses say is that when it happens, it will happen when people least expect it. But scripture says that it will not happen for at least another 2100 years. "11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness," This verse should be applied to people from 2000 years ago, it is being applied to us now, and it will be applied to all the people who will live through another 2000 years from now. However, it will apply to us in different ways. About 2100 years from now, it will be more powerful to them since the incident will be at hand, will be about to happen then. "12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?" Here it is explained that how the world will be destroyed. It will be destroyed by fire and fervent heat, even though 71% of the world is of water. It says that the people will be looking forward to the coming of the day of God, even though it is destruction; why? It is in the next verses.
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." At the end of this world, God will destroy the present Solar system by fire. However, it will not be the end, but he will have new earth and new heavens. If you like to study about them in detail, please refer this link: New Earth and New Heavens. "14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless." In order to inherit the kingdom of God, we must be diligent that we must keep ourselves in peace with God. So, we must be blameless and spotless. But preachers of the church denominations, who are of the devil, preach that salvation is free for those who are living in sin, by twisting scriptures. They preach the grace gospel of the devil that is perversion. So, please do not follow the grace gospel. It looks simple and easy, but it is a trap of the devil. "15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction." Apostle Paul was a highly educated man of his time. So, his letters were with sophisticated language. So, those who do not know such language, and those who want to exploit the situation, twist the meaning by making use of his language. Apostle Peter ascertains that apostle Paul also preach the same gospel as apostle Peter and of the Lord Jesus Christ. But false preachers exploit it by twisting them as if they are interpreters. It is good for you, if you know how preachers twist the teaching of apostle Paul. I have a couple of lessons on that and let me give the links here. Please look at them, because they are very important to ascertain the teaching of apostle Paul to escape the deception of false preachers. The links are, 1 About Righteousness, and 2 About Sin Nature. "17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness." So, apostle Peter advices believers to be steadfast so that they may not be deceived by the wicked false preachers of the devil. "18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen." Apostle Peter ending the book by telling them to grow in grace. But the grace gospel preachers preach the perverted grace gospel. The true grace is given only to humble followers of Jesus Christ, but not to anybody else. So, if you are not a humble person in the sight of God, you do not have grace. Grace is power for you to overcome sins and to escape deception of false preachers. But the grace of false preachers is distributed to all sinners, so that they may to go to heaven with their sins. It is deception and trap of the devil. Let me give a link for you to know what the true grace of God is from the bible. Link is Grace from Jesus Christ versus Common Grace. Receive the true grace from God, which is the power and presence of Jesus Christ, and thereby inherit the kingdom of God to be with God for ever and ever. It is the power of God.

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.
The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven.
John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
