Water Baptism - Means

"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

The meaning of the word 'water baptism' is taking bath in much water by dipping ourselves in it. But, Christian churches juggled the meaning around in order to fit their denominational teachings. It is a very dishonest and silly lie of a religion, who boast about 'TRUTH'. It is disgrace and shame. Just before Jesus was taken to heaven, he told his disciples to do two things. The first is to give water baptism and the second is to teach them to obey his commandments. It is in Mathew 28:18-20. Water baptism is like the marriage ceremony, and the commandments are instructions as to how to lead the marriage life. The ceremony as well as the life are important for eternal life.

Mark 16:16 says, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." It is the statement of the Lord Jesus Christ to his disciples. His disciples understand it, but irresponsible people like street boys, do not understand it. Jesus Christ clearly says that we must take water baptism in order to be saved. And those who do not believe him in taking water baptism, will be damned. But most of our Christian churches, desiring to be politically correct or religiously correct, say that water baptism has no part in our salvation. Jesus Christ tells the truth and these guys are liars, and are the children of the father of lies.
