his words. They follow a worship order, includes litany, scripture reading, singing songs, giving offerings, listen to sermon, and they return fully satisfied. They believe Jesus Christ, meaning they believe what their preachers preach, but do not know what Jesus Christ require them. They flow with the excitement in the building. But the words of Jesus Christ hold very important place in the New Testament. Examples are the sermon on the mount, his parables, his commandments, etc. Most Christians do not know what they are. Even if they could recite them, they have no sense to apply them to their life, or to follow them. They are passages just to memorize; and that is about it. But they believe sermons from television, radio, videos, cassettes, and books, rather than the words of Jesus Christ. They think that if they believe the story of Jesus Christ, they will inherit eternal life, or heaven. They follow church traditions and ceremonies.
2. The Bible Knowledge of Christians is the lies of devil.
Christians do not know the Bible, but they think that they know it all. They do not even know the true biblical meaning of the words like grace, salvation/saved, faith, hope, truth, and they have wrong understanding. Christians do not even have the desire to know them from God. So, the devil deceives them. Our Christianity became alien to the purity of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ told the religious people, who thought they were godly, that they are children of the devil because they follow the lies of their father, the devil. "John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." Those who preach lies are the messengers of the devil. Those who believe their lies are the children of the devil, according to Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us be true Christians and believe the truth from Jesus Christ.
"John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Jesus Christ tells them that actually believed on him to continue in (study and obey) his words (his commandments) in order to become his disciples, so that they may know the truth. As they obey the truth, they will be made free from all powers of evil. "Matthew 13:11 --- it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." Jesus Christ says that the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven are revealed to his disciples, and followers only, but not to others. So, it is important that a Bible teacher should first become a disciple of Jesus Christ to know the truth. After knowing the truth, he may teach the word of God to others. If not, they will continue to teach errors in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, by which they will bring disgrace to our Lord Jesus Christ.
"1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness: 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words---" The Bible does not have any conflicting doctrines. The whole Bible is given by the inspiration of God as his word and it is spiritually revealed to his disciples (followers). God does not reveal his word to those who call themselves as servants of God, but do not obey God. They make conflicting doctrines by twisting the words. The commandments of the Lord Jesus Christ, which are in a nutshell the wholesome words of God, which is according to godliness, is the truth of God. But those who teach deviation from this truth are proud and know nothing of God. Those who follow the truth will not be a victim to the subtle deception of the devil. The devil deceives the educated smart people and in turn they deceive people with enticing words.
"Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; Matthew 4:23 … Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel … Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel … Mark 1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel … Luke 7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, …, to the poor the gospel is preached." These are not my opinions, but quotes from the Bible, which is the word of God. It is very important to know that our Lord Jesus Christ is the one who first started to preach the gospel for salvation and the apostles followed it through. Usually, the gospel we hear is not the same gospel which Jesus Christ preached. The servants of God must preach Jesus Christ and they must also preach the gospel that Jesus Christ has preached. If they preach the story of Jesus Christ and call it the gospel, they are deceitfully or ignorantly bypassing the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is deception by the devil. That is, they are preaching another gospel using the name of Jesus Christ. They will be found guilty for preaching another gospel and they will not escape the wrath of God. "2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world (the devil) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." Jesus Christ preached the true gospel for our salvation. Jesus Christ says that we must obey his gospel; it is not just an information to pass around.
The Gospel is the good news of God. This good news will tell you what to do to be saved, and it is the commandments of Jesus Christ. This Gospel must be obeyed. "2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 4:17 ... what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God." 'Believe only gospel' is a counterfeit gospel. Satan, the old serpent, who deceived Eve at the garden of God has many forms of deception. The same devil, even now, deceives people at the church of God. So, love the truth, but not the lie of the devil. The gospel is not just to believe the story of Jesus Christ and this belief will not take us to heaven. It is good to believe. But if you believe Jesus Christ, then you will do what Jesus Christ tells you to do to inherit eternal life. The gospel is not just believing, but also obeying what Jesus Christ commands. That is the true gospel and all other gospels are lies.
"2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." Love and receive the truth of God. If not, God will send strong delusion so that you may believe a lie. So, it is important to desire the truth, because our own salvation depends on it. The counterfeit is always cheap and most of us settle for the counterfeit because it is easy to obtain. But the counterfeit salvation is not salvation and it is just deception, which leads to hell.
Our messages are dedicated to the truth of God. We have used the Bible as the only source for our studies. We study and teach the Bible by explaining one verse by another verse in the proper context by the revelation of God. We serve God with fear. We have no clients to favor. We teach the Word of God in truth, so that you may obey God, as we obey Him. "Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Mark and Matthew have written the great commission of the Lord Jesus Christ using different sentences. Mark wrote as "preach the gospel". Matthew wrote the same great commission as, "teach all nations ... teaching them to observe (obey) all things whatsoever I have commanded you." Therefore, preaching the gospel is to teach the commandments of Jesus Christ for obedience.
In real life, Christians are inseparable from the world. Christians are in the world and they are very much of the world. But the words of Jesus Christ teach us that Christians are in the world, but not of the world. "John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world." Since Christians love the world, their back sliding comes in two steps. The first one is that they do not want to hear the words of Jesus Christ since it is hard to practice. "John 8:43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word." The second is that they are not of God anymore. "John 8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? 47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." It is sad that Christians came to this level to be rejected of God.
It may be acceptable for attorneys to study the law of the land in order to twist and exploit the law to favor their clients and thus become rich and famous. They may become famous, but they will not become righteous. There may be other professions like this as well. But, is it okay for Christian ministers to study the word of God to twist the word to exploit and deceive the people of God for their own worldly fame and profit? No! They work for Satan and pretends as they work for God. God will destroy them in the end. "2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works."
True Christianity is not just another religion. It is not understood by gathering information and by observing ceremonies. It is the life with power, which is directed by the word of God and by the Spirit of God. True Christians will mortify their carnality and will be raised in the spirit life. They are led of the Holy Ghost. They are spiritual Christians. "Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Those who are not guided by the holy spirit in life are not of God, but they are just religious Christians. So, we must receive the holy spirit and the power of God, in order to live as true Christians. "John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Live as a Spirit filled Christian, become a son of God and be blessed.
The words of Jesus Christ get us clean to begin with. "John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you." We are born by the words of Jesus Christ, which gives eternal life. "1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." Through the words of Jesus Christ, we will know God; and by the abiding of the word, we will overcome the devil. "1 John 2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one." Let us all pursue after the word of Jesus Christ and overcome the devil. Then, we will be with Jesus Christ. "Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Obey the words of Jesus Christ and he will give you to sit on his throne with him.
