1. Walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work.

Colossians 1:1&2 say, apostle Paul and his fellow soldier Timothy, jointly write to the faithful saints at Colosse, wishing them grace and peace from the Lord Jesus Christ and God. Verses 3&4 say, they always pray for Colossians because they had faith in Jesus Christ, and they loved their fellow saints. Their church was not social or religious, but Spiritual. Verses 5&6 say, Colossians have laid their faith in the word of the true gospel for heaven; and their lives showed the fruits, which are proof. So, Paul and others know that they have the true grace of God. Verses 7&8 say, Epaphras, a true fellow servant, knew about them and told apostle Paul and others about their love in the Spirit. Verse 9&10 say, they prayed that the saints may be wise, know God's will, and to have Spiritual understanding, so that they walk worthy of the Lord in life as fruits. It is necessary that saints must walk worthy of the Lord. "2 Timothy 2:19 ..., The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity." But Christians reject this, and they have learned to quote clichés, but will never live the life. Further, they proclaim shamelessly that nobody can live a life that is worthy and think that all go to heaven by the compassion and mercy of God. It is a lie of the devil, and shame for Christians. "10 says, ...walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work," It is word of God.

2. God delivers us from darkness, translates us to the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

In the beginning, Lord Jesus Christ was 'God the Word'. With him and with 'the Holy Ghost', 'God the Father' has created the entire universe and all things in them. They are sun, moon, stars, world, living beings, chicken, lion, people, and all such things. This power is physical that we might see it and understand it. He has another mighty power that we cannot see or understand unless we are spiritual, since they are Spiritual. If we have received the holy Spirit from God, we may also be strengthened by his power. Verses 11 to 14 Say, "11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; 12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" We thank God for this power. What will we become, by this power? As saints of God, we become God's children, sons, or bride; we will inherit the Kingdom of God in heaven, which is the greatest glory for man. It was similar to that Joseph was taken from prison, to be the second in command to Pharaoh. But how did we become the family of God to inherit his kingdom? God delivers us from the power of darkness, it is from lies and deceptions of the devil. God gives us the holy Spirit, which is the light, and makes us his light and asks us to shine; so, we became the light of God. Then God reveals the mysteries to us, and we knew the truth of God; and as we know, we obey his truth. It is our righteousness. Now God has converted us from being sinning people to be righteous saints. So, our nature has changed and will not commit sins anymore; that is, we are justified by the grace of God. And the only sins on us is our past sins. As in Romans 2:24&25, God delivers us from darkness that we may not sin anymore; and at this point God forgives all our past sins. And thus now, God has translated us to the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our God.

3. The image of the invisible God, became the firstborn of every creature.

We know that the Lord Jesus Christ has created the entire universe, when he was "God the Word'. "15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:" The teaching of this verse is messed up by ignorant preachers. This could refer to the soul of a man, since it is created in the image of God. It could refer to 'God the Word'. But it says first born, so, it refers to only one person, and so, it will not fit human soul. It will neither fit 'God the Word' since he was not born, but he was from the very beginning. "16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." These two verses refer to 'God the Word', he has created all things. By the way, please notice that he has created visible and invisible things; they are thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers. They are not objects, but positions and status. Please notice in verse 16, that all are created for him. Now, let us come to the point. 'God the Word' is the Lord Jesus Christ, and he is in the omnipotent Spirit after his resurrection and ascension; that is, he is God in the Spirit. John 3:16 says, he is the only begotten Son of God. Until at that point, he never was the Son to God. It was new. A man, with Soul and Spirit, enters heaven in the status of God, is born into heaven as the Son of God. So, the resurrected Jesus Christ, was declared as the only begotten Son of God, and was anointed as God. Ignorant preachers and celebrity preachers like Billy Graham, twisted the word of God and preaching that this verse refers to the man Jesus, which is born to Virgin Mary. It is a foolishness and a very severe doctrinal error, but every church has accepted this doctrinal twist. If you like to study the subject in detail, please refer to these links: "Begotten Son", "John 3:16". However, now Jesus Christ is Almighty God in the omnipotent Spirit. Before Jesus Christ referred to himself as the only begotten Son, and now he refers to himself as the first begotten (it is in Revelation 1:5), or as firstborn; it implies that more sons will join the family of God. "18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;". "The firstborn from the dead;" It implies that it is after death of the man Jesus on the cross. "20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled," God makes peace in two steps by dying on the cross and by his blood. In "Ephesians 2:14 says, For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;" that is, Jesus has brought peace by destroying the separating wall between Jews and Gentiles for eternal salvation. So, all people in the world must come to God as one people. However, there are still two groups, namely good people, and evil people. God did not join them as one group as before, but he purifies the good souls, by his grace, Spirit, and blood, and makes peace with them, and gives them inheritance in heaven. The evil souls will be thrown down  for eternal damnation in hell. " 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:" The good souls were also in darkness, were once sinners and enemies, and alienated from holy God, because of their wicked works. So, Jesus converts them to be holy and be his family; as Jesus Christ himself became God's first Son, they are also included following him. So, reconciled sinners join his Spirit family as he is the head, and they are his body. Are you good or evil? If you are good, you have hope. Please obey him and follow him. Evil people will put up a show and they will become religious, but not godly.

4. Continue in faith grounded and settled, do not go away from the gospel.

"23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;" There is a famous doctrine of Satan, and it is "once saved always saved". You may refer to my link for details: "Once Saved". "1 Corinthians 10:12 also says, Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." So, it is necessary that we must settle and be grounded in the faith. "24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:" His ministry is through sufferings. Jesus called his disciples to pick up their crosses and to follow him. Now, false preachers have become celebrities and they glory in prosperity and fame. They are not of God, but of Satan. "25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; 26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:" Here, apostle Paul confirms to Colossians that in order to reveal the mysteries that is hidden even from the old times, God has chosen Paul as a minister.

5. This is mystery among Gentiles, which is Christ in you, is the hope of glory.

Christians have learned to say many clichés, but don't mean what they say. They say Christ is in us, or we are in Christ, but they don't know what it is. It means that the actual person Jesus Christ, who is God in the omnipotent Spirit lives in us, or we live in him. If he is with us in this way, the simple proof will be that sin cannot touch us. If not, Jesus Christ is not in us. "27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" The mystery here is that God is no respecter of persons, and so, he may live in gentiles also, contrary to the Jewish belief. "28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:" But Jesus Christ will not live in a person, or allow a person to live in him, if that person is with sin. So, the people must become perfect for Jesus Christ to abide. "29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily." Since apostle Paul strives hard as Jesus Christ inspires him to be, God works in him very mightily. It is for our behalf.
