Eternal life for the righteous

"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

We declare

God says that the wages of sin will be eternal death. But, if we are made free from sin, become servants to God, have fruit unto holiness, the end will be everlasting life. But, preachers turn the grace of God into lasciviousness (Jude 1:4). They preach that by grace we will go to heaven no matter what we do.

Preachers preach very silly things and declare that we Christians are saved, we will be raised from the dead and we will be with the Lord in heaven and so on. But to get to heaven is not as easy as the preachers say. If we trust the preachers, we will also go to the place where they are going, that is the lake of fire. Let us see what the Lord Jesus Christ says. "Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie." See, Jesus Christ is not weeping over a lost soul, as most preachers presenting him. He says that let the sinner be sinning, and let the holy people become perfect. Then he is telling about the reward according to what we do. Then he says who will go to hell, and there no suspense. Jesus Christ points out that those who obey his commandments are blessed. "Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Jesus Christ is teaching in many ways how we can receive eternal life. In this parable, he does not require a person to be holy or perfect or to mortify the flesh, etc, but he only points out a heart of compassion. If we love God and love our fellow men, we will help them in their need, and can get into eternal life. "Matthew 25:46 ... but the righteous into life eternal." If we are righteous, we will inherit eternal life. "Luke 18:28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee. 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting." Again we see here the special privilege to the disciple, who has done a lot more than an ordinary believer, who just took care of the needs of the fellow men. "Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life." Here, the steps to eternal life is very clearly portrayed. First get out of sin, become a servant to God, show proof of holiness, and God will give you eternal life.
