"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

The declaration is: 'Preach the gospel' of Jesus Christ is 'to teach his commandments to observe'. Gospel must be obeyed. Explanation: The church must obey God's commandments. We do what he tells us to do in order to inherit eternal life.
"Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Jesus Christ told his disciples to teach all his commandments to obey. This recording of Matthew is recorded by Mark in this manner. "Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Here, Jesus Christ tells the same thing as to preach the gospel. So, we conclude that to teach his commandments to people to do them, is the same as to preach the gospel. Jesus Christ says that those who will do them will be saved and those who will not believe it to do them, will be damned. Please study from the links also: "Gospel lesson", "Gospel Video."
