Water Baptism and Communion

"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Water Baptism by immersion, Communion (breaking of bread).

The declaration is: Water Baptism and Communion (breaking bread) to remember and show his death and resurrection. Explanation: Baptism is required to join the Church and to be saved. Communion is to eat bread broken (symbol of his body) and to drink from the cup of wine (symbol of his blood). This is  to remember him, and to show his death. This is needed to be steadfast with Jesus Christ.

Water baptism is a frequent subject in churches. Jesus Christ took water baptism, he gave water baptism, he told his disciples to give water baptism, and he declared that those who do not believe and take water baptism will be damned. So, water baptism is important. Water baptism show the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ in the life of the believer. He also told his disciples to have communion. Even though it is observed as a ceremony, the bread and the wine are the proxy for the broken body and the shed blood of Jesus Christ. As often as we take communion, we have to remember the Lord Jesus Christ, and we have to show the death of Jesus. "1 Corinthians 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come."
