"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
I am a retired pastor of
the Church of God (Tennessee).
My name is Isaac Livingston. I am from Neyyoor India.
"Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;" God says that even before a man is formed in the womb of his mother, God has seen him. It must be the soul. The soul is created first and the flesh body is given to the soul as a tabernacle for the soul to live in. The soul is wrapped with the body as it is being created in the womb. Then after the baby is matured in the womb, the baby of flesh is born. It is born of the flesh. So, born of the flesh is a process, from conception to birth. So also, the born of the spirit (born again) is also a process. God seals the holy spirit as the spirit of promise, after a person repents. "Ephesians 1:13 ... after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise," This is the beginning of the process of born again, which is born of the spirit. The process includes born of water and born of God. "Ephesians 4:30 ... the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption." So, on the day of redemption, the process of born again will be complete. On that day our flesh body that is born of flesh will return to the dust where it came form. "Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." How will the spirit in us return to God? "Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." So, if the born again process is complete in us, in the process we will become the sons of God, and at our resurrection we (our spirit body, but not the flesh body that is dust) will be be glorified or we may say that we will look like Lord Jesus Christ. If the process is not complete, we may end up in the paradise, which is new earth. If we have not received the holy spirit as the seal, then we will be found naked on that day and will be ashamed before the Lord Jesus Christ. Please read 2 Corinthians 5:1-5. Jesus Christ says on John 3:7, "Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." The Holy Spirit is the body that will be glorified in eternity.
God Bless You
