God joins husband and wife in marriage; but Satan also does it; and what do you do with them?

1. Submit yourselves one another in the fear of God.

I am from India, but I am living in the USA for more than fifty years. I have seen many families, Hindus as well as Christians. In Hinduism, men are superior to women in all things. Bible also says that husband is the head of his wife in a limited sense, and in a broader sense it says that both are equal. "Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;" The verses begin with 21, saying "submit yourselves one to another in the fear of God." So, both are equal, even though in Christianity the headship is given to the husband in the guardianship, protection, and provision to the wife, as Jesus Christ is protecting the church. It is not as the men being above the women in Hindu culture. The bible never says that husbands must keep their wives as their foot stool. The example of Jesus Christ and the church is given, and so, husband must give himself for his wife. "28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." Husband and wife must love each other as they love themselves. Husband must give himself to his wife in such a way as Jesus gave himself to his church. Considering that the husband sacrifices his life for his wife, his wife must also love him in such a manner with intense affection as the Spirit church lives for Jesus Christ. This is the ideal Christian love of a husband and a wife.

2. Husband cleave to his wife as they are one flesh.

"Mark 10:7-9 and Matthew 19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." When God has created woman, he took a rib bone of Adam and created Eve; so, they both were one. When he joins husband and wife, he joins them in the same way as two souls in one flesh; so that, they must love each other as if they are one body, flesh and bone. But, when the devil joins a man and a woman as husband and wife, he joins them as a wild animal and its prey. Mostly man is wild animal, and woman is the prey. But they also quote scriptures as the twain is one body to them, but they refer to the act of sex, but that is not one body. When God joins them together, they become one body in the Spirit, and they will live together as if they are one body in love, taking care of each other. When God does this as they are one body, man must not put asunder; that is, man must not separate them. But, if devil has joined them together, he will join them as a wild animal and its prey, and man must put it asunder; that is, man must separate them, to help the victim to escape. "1 Corinthians 7:10 ... unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:" That is, if God has joined them together, please do not depart; but if the devil has joined them together then, she must escape from the wild animal. But in Hinduism, there are many slogans and clichés to keep the woman under such slavery. They would rather see her die than she escapes. Christianity teaches love and compassion. But many foolish, ignorant, vicious, preachers and hypocrites do not care. They will very calmly enjoy watching the animal devouring the victim, and it is their pleasure. They have no conscience; they will go to hell for that. They have blinded themselves from knowing whether it is God or the devil, who has joined them. We may allow such a husband and wife to live together on only one condition; it is, if the wild beast repented and be converted and has become a lamb; then and then only they may live together. Or else, they must depart and let the victim escape torture and ultimate death. One more very important thing is this: God never forces anything on anybody. If a man and a woman be converted and are willing to live by the guidance of the Spirit, then only God will do anything with them, even join them in marriage. Otherwise, God will not touch them. But people have hundreds of ways to conduct a marriage, or even without marriage, to join man and woman, even in a church or outside the church; but God has nothing to do with these unions. But they will quote, Matthew 19:6 and say, that what God has joined together, man should not put it under, that is, man should not help the victim to escape. But God did not join them in marriage, but the devil or themselves did it; and so, it is proper to help them separate.

3. Man and woman have their own wife or husband.

1 Corinthians 7:2-4 say ["2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. 4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife."] that husband and wife must enjoy each other specially to avoid fornication. In every way, the relationship must be in equal partnership, but never one dominating, and put the other under his feet. If that happens, it is demonic. Porn involvement in any way, that is, pornographic addiction is Satanic, and it is death.

1 Corinthians 7:32-34 say, ["32 ... He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband."] that a husband may look forward to "how he may please his wife," and a wife may look forward to "how she may please her husband." That means that they must not look forward to devour each other, but to give themselves in love to the other.

4. Wife subjects to her husband; husband honors his wife.

"Colossians 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord." It tells wives to submit; so, husbands will be happy. But it also says, as it fits the Lord, that is, if he demands an ungodly thing, tell him to behave. "19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them." It is a command and an instruction to husbands. "25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." So, God is watching; we will either get rewards or punishments from God for what we do. So, be righteous.

1 Peter 3:1-4 is taught erroneously most of the time. ["1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; 2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price."] Men take the first verse "ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands;" to keep women under their feet. But the passage is about unconverted men and to their godly wives. It advises them to be godly before their husbands; not to attract them with fashion, make-ups, etc; but to show character so that they may be converted. But macho ignorant men think that woman is below their level and teach nonsense. Verse 7 says, "7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered." That is, men must have good understanding to honor their wives; and says that they are weak in body strength, probably have more intelligence, but they are equal for heavenly inheritance, and so honor them. Then, God will listen to their prayers.  

5. Male and female are one in status in Christ Jesus.

Bible says as prophesy that Jesus Christ will be Messiah in two times. First time is when he was a man, and at that time he will be cut off, it refers to his crucifixion, it is in Daniel 9:26, and the next will be at the millennium. When he was a man there were speculations that Jesus could be the messiah, but nobody knew, and it was kept as a mystery at that time. Jesus revealed the mystery first to a woman at the well and honored her. God the Father revealed it to apostle Peter and honored him. It is in John 4:25&26. So, an ordinary woman was honored as much as an apostle.

Resurrection of Jesus Christ is in Mark 16. "9 ... when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene." Jesus Christ told the greatest announcement of his resurrection, first to Mary, and Jesus honors a woman, even above all his disciples and apostles.

"Galatians 3:28 says, There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." That is, even though men and women are created differently for the purpose to live and to multiply, they both are created the same with no difference, in Christ Jesus, for eternal life and for inheritance in the kingdom of God. So, men and women are different for worldly living, but they are same for heavenly matters. That is, even though God has created their bodies differently, God has created their souls the same for eternity.
