"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

"1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." Holiness is the very attribute of God. It is extreme purity that has no trace of impurity. God wants us to live in the same purity that is holiness. But, is it possible for us to live like God in holiness? Yes, it is possible. God has made us in his own image. "Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:.. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him;" Our souls are created in the image of the soul of God, that is, our soul is identical with the soul of God, which has the ability to live in holiness. Further the Bible has proof that there were people who lived in holiness and it says that we can also live in holiness. Holy life starts as we detach ourselves from the source of sin. Then we shall become the children of God and holiness shall become a way of life. "2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God." If we can detach ourselves from the source of sin, which is very possible for us to do, then God will accept us his sons/daughters and will by giving the power that we will need, and we will be holy as God is holy. Zacharias, the father of John the Baptist, has prophesied and said in Luke 1:, "74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, 75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life." Here our enemies refer to the devil, who caused us to commit sin, and the prophesy says that we will live in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life. So, God helps us to live with no sin. "1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" God has called us to holiness and without holiness, we cannot see God.
