God has separated light from darkness. Light and darkness or symbolic, or we may say that they are spiritual. They are, truth & lie, good & evil, righteousness & unrighteousness, holiness & sin, spirit & flesh, just & unjust, and so on. They cannot not unite or merge together, in spite of the best efforts of people to come to the middle ground.

Let us see our study portion, John 1:4-13: "John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Verse 4 says, In him was life; and the life was the light of men. We are all living beings. In him was life, does not refer that he was a living being. But, the life in him refers to the light of men, which is our life. Yet, it is not the life of our flesh, but it refers to the life of our soul. It is not his life, it is our life that is in him. God created our soul and he created the body, that are male and female, from the dust of the earth. God gave the body as a house or as a tabernacle for the soul to live as in 2 Corinthians 5:1&4, 2 Peter 1:13&14. So, the real we are our souls and our body is our house and we live in it. Leviticus 17:11 says the life of the flesh is in the blood: So, our body lives as long as our blood circulates and we live as man or woman. Genesis 2:7 the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. God gave the breath of life to living man and he became a living soul. When God made man from the dust, it is flesh and blood and since the life is in the blood, the man lives and he was already a living man. The breath of life is the light of life or the spirit of life was breathed into the living man. The first day creation 'the light' is added to the sixth day creation and man became a living soul. This is born again. At first the soul received the flesh, which is symbolically the first birth, and then he/she receives the life that is the light of men, which is spirit, is symbolically born again, or the second birth. God says we must be born again, that is, we must receive the light of man and must become a living soul. God refers men as dead until we are born again even though our bodies live. Jesus Christ will give life to those who will come to him. Ephesians 5:14 Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. John 1:9, Matthew 8:22, Luke 15:32, Ephesians 2:1&5, Colossians 2:13, 1 Timothy 5:6, and many other verses say that we are dead until we are born again. We have two lives. We live physically as long as our blood circulates since our life is in the blood. We live spiritually, if we have the light of life, that is the spirit of man, that is the holy spirit. It is not the Holy Ghost, but it is the holy spirit. If we receive the light of men, then our souls will be living and God will consider us as living persons, for eternal life.

Verse 5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Now, the light came to darkness, and conflict started. The light is not physical light, but it is spirit light and this spirit is the one, gives life to souls of men. But, what is darkness? Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. The Spirit of God was on the top of the waters and darkness was in depth below the waters, which was earth. We think darkness is absence of light. But the Bible considers darkness as an opposite power to light. It was not just a void of light. Darkness exists even before the six days creation. Verse 4 God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. If the light is good, then darkness is evil. God does not want this darkness to be mixed, or merged or united with the light. So, God divided them. The names, darkness & light are symbolic. So, light and darkness is the same as truth & lie, good & evil, just & unjust, holiness & sin, righteousness & unrighteousness, spirit & flesh, and so on. So, darkness means many things. But in Genesis 1:2 it is earth, from which our body or flesh came from. So, it could be symbolic for our flesh. So, our flesh is the darkness and the spirit is the light. So, a person being in the flesh, if he begins the spirit life, the flesh could not comprehend it or tolerate it. It screams, like, until yesterday you allowed me to have sin, why don't you allow me now? See, the spirit-life will hinder the flesh-life (ie sin-life) of a person. Galatians 5:17 says the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: But, people wish to merge them together so that they may enjoy sin as well as go to heaven. In Matthew 6:24 Jesus Christ says: No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Mammon is the things of the world.

John 1:6-8. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. This is about John the Baptist. He was a great servant of God. He had a great mission. He completed his mission and got out of the way. He came to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He did his job very effectively and his life was taken. In Matthew 11:11 Jesus Christ said: verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: Jesus Christ applauded him.

Verse 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. This is about Jesus Christ. He is the true Light and he lights or ignites men to become lights. He created the light, keeps the light, and gives the light. Many preachers and Christians say that they have this light, which is the spirit. But they live as sin promoters, and they have no shame to announce that they do sin every day. They are applauded for that. So, their followers also live the same way as they do. They have no idea about how Jesus Christ lived. In John 8:12 Jesus Christ says, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. That is, if a person has received the light from Jesus Christ, he will not walk in darkness, he will walk as Jesus Christ walked, without committing sin. But these men live to sin. So, Jesus Christ had not given his light to these people. As in Jude 1:4 they call, sin-life as grace-life, lasciviousness as grace & darkness as light. Matthew 6:23 says, If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! That is, they are really messed up. Then again verse 9 says, Jesus Christ lights every man that come into the world, not only the men in church. Jesus Christ gives this light to a person, who is doing good deeds. But churches say that it is not by good works but by theology, ceremonies or ordinances. But, Jesus Christ does not give any value to them, but he is looking for purity of life in a person. John 3:19 this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil, their works are evil, what they do is sin. Churches do not want to look at the deeds of men, but they are into ceremonies like worship services, alter calls, potluck dinners, etc, but not the good works of righteousness. They always wanted to make it ceremonial and theological rather than real life. If we can fit God in a ceremony, it is convenient to have God in the church and sin outside the church. That is what the churches are doing. God says, whether, good or evil in real life does matter, but not in a ceremony. Again he says that evil men that is sinning, hate Jesus Christ. But sinners say, they love Jesus. God says in 2 Corinthians 11:4 they love another Jesus, who is not the Light. John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. God says that they hate the light because, if a sinner comes to this Light, who is the true Jesus Christ, he will reprove the sin and tell them not to sin any more. But another Jesus of the churches will not tell that. Instead, preachers say that we all will sin until we die. Yes, that is why, Jesus Christ in John 8:21 told them that they will all die in their sins and go to hell. John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. So, whoever walks according to the truth, will come to the true Jesus Christ, because they are workmanship of Jesus Christ. If you have good conscience, doing good works, Jesus Christ will light you even in your prayer closet, without a church ceremony. This light is the spirit of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:9 Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. That is, if we don't have this spirit, we don't even belong to Jesus Christ.

Our lesson verse, John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. Ephesians 3:9 says God created the world and everything in it by Jesus Christ. When he became a man and came the first time, nobody knew him. Now as he has come to the world again as God in the omnipotent Spirit, even then nobody accept him. Acts 3:26 God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. Not only the world, even Christians do not know that and reject him even if we show it in scripture. They are not actually ignorant, but they are rebellious as the Pharisees and Scribes.

John 1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. His own people are Jews and it refers to his coming as the Lamb of God. Jews did not receive him, but crucified him. Now, after his return as resurrected Jesus Christ, as God in the Spirit, we Christians do not receive him. So, verses 10&11 say that nobody received him. But, read the next verse, it says that a few people have received him. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: That is, if we receive him or even believe on his name, God will give us power to become his sons. So, with this power, we can become the sons of God. First let us see, what is this power. Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. So, the power to become sons of God is, to be led by the Spirit of God, which is the Holy Spirit. So, what will the leading of the Holy Spirit do? 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. The Holy Ghost will give power to Holy Spirit, which is the light, to mortify, that is to kill, the deeds of your body, which is sinning. That is, God gives power to your spirit, and your spirit will kill your sin. Then you will have eternal life. Vs 14 says that you will be the son of God. Now, in order to receive this power, we have to do one of two things. 1 is to receive him. 2 is to believe on his name. How to receive him? Acts 3:26 says that Jesus Christ is here to turn us away from our iniquities that include sins. But there is another Jesus, who will meet all your needs, who will understand you, make you rich in your poverty, heal you in your sickness, provide you anything you want, and most Christians have received such a Jesus. They think they got it made, but it will be sad since they are eternally damned. Theologians give doctrines, commentaries, explanations, etc, churches provide alter calls, ceremonies, ordinances, etc. God wants good works of righteousness, by receiving the true Jesus Christ.

Verse 12 also says: even to them that believe on his name: What is to believe on his name? More verses say to believe on him or to believe on Jesus Christ, to be saved or to have eternal life. These also raise much commotion. So, let us see what is to believe on him first and then we see about believe on his name. John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. Jesus Christ says, if they believe on him, we will not walk in darkness. He will light us, the sparks from him will set us on fire and we will glow as lights. We will not live in darkness anymore. It will be the proof. Those, who do not have this proof, do not have the light. Now, let us see what is to believe on his name. Let my name be Tom or Joe or Mike; if I ask you, do you believe on my name, it will not make any sense and you will laugh at it. But if I tell you that my name is 'Gift Giver,' then ask you, do you believe on my name, you may ask me, what kind of gift you will give? See, if there is a meaning to the name, then believe on the name, is to believe the meaning of the name. Most Christians do not even know that there is a meaning to his name. Then what do they believe? They will tell us that Jesus Christ will take them to heaven no matter what they do or something like that. That is not the meaning to his name. They just bluff after the preachers. His name is Lord Jesus Christ. Let us find the meaning to his name. Then we know, whether we believe on his name or not.

Lord means; he is the master. 1 Corinthians 6:19 know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost ... and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. If you say that you are forgiven, then Jesus Christ has bought you by his blood. You are the property or slave to Jesus Christ and he is your LORD. 1 Corinthians 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men. That is, don't serve men, churches, denominations, doctrines or preachers, but be servants to Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. There are preachers openly deny the Lordship of Jesus Christ and some of them very cunningly teach not to obey Jesus Christ. They are enemies to our Lord, and are rebellious against our master.

Now, what is the meaning of Jesus? Matthew 1:21 she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Jesus means that this man will save his people from their sins. It is not to take you to heaven as you commit sin, but he will pull you out of sin and make you escape from the grip of sin. Ephesians 5:25 Jesus Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that is, he died on the cross for you. 26 that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that is, he will give you his word, that is, he will tell you what to do what not to do, clean you, and purify you. 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. That is, Jesus Christ will accept you as pure holy person. Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. He will purify you from sin, for you to do good works. 'Jesus' means, savior from sin. If you believe on his name, he will save you.

Now, what Christ means? Christ means the Son of God. Theologians give different meanings to confuse people. In Matthew 16:15 Jesus Christ saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Scripture says, Jesus Christ will bring many more sons to glory.

Meaning of Lord Jesus Christ is this: He is the master of us all and every knee must bow to him. He will save only his people from sin itself. Being the Son of God, he will bring many sons to glory. His people will submit themselves to obey whatever he will say. They believed on his name. Don't use his name as a chant. It is not; believe on his name.

John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Born again is by God, that is, if God gives us the spirit of man, or if God lights us with his light, then and then only we are born again. It is not by any other means. It is not by psychology, by mind power, theology, ceremonies, ordinances, follow a doctrine, following a celebrity preacher, or by any other such things. If we become lights, as he is light, it is the proof that we are born of God. If we are born of God, we will be babies. As a child, we will drink milk, be washed with water by the word, and we will grow as the Spirit leads to become sons of God. Then we will inherit the kingdom of God as joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. So will you become a son of God?

Looking for the true gospel? This site has the true gospel!

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
