Justification

"Mark 16:15 preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded: Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega,... 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, ... have right to the tree of life, and... enter ... the city."

I am a retired pastor of the Church of God (Tennessee).
My name is Isaac Livingston. I am from Neyyoor India.

"John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: .. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth." So, Jesus Christ is truth and his word is truth. Yet, look at the caution. "2 Corinthians 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; ..." So, there are crafty, dishonest people, handle the word of God deceitfully. The devil and his ministers are very busy deceiving people proving that they themselves are the servants of God. They use the word 'justification' also deceitfully to twist and to deceive those who allow themselves to be deceived. Let us see how they do it.

It is strange that the word 'justification' is used by false preachers a lot more than others. They say that God calls you 'just' while you are not 'just' or God says that you are righteous while you are unrighteous, that is while you are sinning. And they say that this is justification. But, God is the TRUTH. He will never call unrighteous as righteous, or sinning as 'just'. Yet they preach this lie, and Christians swallow this lie without desire, since it gives them big support to keep their pleasurable sins like lust or porn, and such things, and can claim that they are of God and they are saved.

In common vocabulary, justify may mean to call the wrong thing as okay in certain situations. But, according to the Bible, God converts an evil person to be a good person, and calls the good person as a just person, and this is called justification, or justify the person. But, it is not to call an unrighteous person as righteous, or to call a sinning person as a saved, which are lies of the devil. But preachers will also do this, since they want to please people to fill their pocket. Just because preachers are used to saying this lie, it will not become truth.

In the worldly court of law, an expert lawyer may present a case in such a way showing some technicality, lack of evidence, questioning the credibility of a witness, or such to vindicate a criminal. So, Judge may acquit the case, and free the criminal. This is in not justification in the bible sense. However, most preachers present this as justification, citing the blood of Jesus. It is a stretch of the truth of God, and the sinners are not just in this case. This kind of preaching is deception. This is to call evil as good, and it is known as justifying, if we play with words in English language. It is not from God, but from the devil.

God Bless You
