"Mark 16:15 preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded: Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega,... 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, ... have right to the tree of life, and... enter ... the city."
I am a retired pastor of
the Church of God (Tennessee).
My name is Isaac Livingston. I am from Neyyoor India.
"Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless." Our earth and heaven are going to be destroyed, and God will replace them with new earth and new heavens. The word of God does not say directly, but gives hints that the new earth is the paradise of God. It was given to Adam and Eve, but they were chased out of it when they have committed sin, since then, it is protected from the access of men. Let us see the hints. "Genesis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and ..." The tree of life was in the middle of the garden of Eden. "Revelation 2:7 ... To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God." Here we see that the tree of life is in the middle of paradise of God. So, we see that the renewed Garden of Eden is the paradise of God. "Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea." So, God will create new earth and new heaven. We saw that new earth is the paradise. Present earth stands on water, but new earth or paradise, has no sea. "Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God." So, the tabernacle of God will be on new earth. The presence of God will be there and people will worship God in the same way as in the old testament, but with no ceremonial traditions or sacrifice. But new heaven will be different. "Revelation 21:22 I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it." There will be no temple, but God the Father and God the Son will be present with them in person.
"Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise." The malefactor, we generally call him as the thief on the cross, was converted on the cross, called Jesus as the Lord requesting him, in "verse 42 he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom." Immediately Jesus Christ told him that he will be in paradise, which is New Earth, that is part of heaven. How did he qualify paradise, but not New Heaven? Heaven and hell are given according to what they have done, even though preachers preach just the opposite to please people for good offering. "Revelation 20:13 ... they were judged every man according to their works. 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." The thief in question, is converted and so, he will not fit in hell. But he does not have any works to fit anywhere in heaven. Such people are in paradise, which is new earth.
"1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. 14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." Here, if our works are like wood, hay, and stubble, it will be burned, but we escape from the fire. So, there is no reward. It will be paradise, but not new heaven. But, it is not explained what is the wood, hay and rubble in this context. Let us see if God has given some hints, since he told us to search the scriptures. It seems as a demotion from new heaven, if we don't measure up. But it is not a promotion from hell. (1). "Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven." If you are qualified to enter new heaven, but if you do and teach one of his commandments erroneously, you will be the least in heaven, that is, you will find yourself in new earth. So, don't twist any scriptures, don't add any, or don't delete or ignore any. (2). "Jeremiah 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD." Now, most preachers tell about their dreams, visions, etc, for their fund raising. They get good money. They will go to hell, but if they qualify new heaven otherwise, then, they will be pushed down to new earth. (3). Holy people by back-sliding or such, lose new heaven and end up either in hell or in new earth. Let us see one such incident. "Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. 11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:" This portion tells us about the story of the prodigal son. The younger son got the portion of inheritance and wasted his substance with riotous living. But, "17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants." So, the backslidden son repented and came back to his Father and was accepted. It is symbolic of admission in heaven. Listen to what the Father says to his elder son. "31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. 32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found." Here, the elder son got all the inheritance, and the younger son, or the prodigal son lost all his inheritance by riotous living, and so there is nothing coming to him. But he is accepted in heaven with no reward, which is the new earth. He just escaped hell. This is the bible truth. "2 John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward." Don't lose your reward, if you do, you may go to new earth. It is still heaven and there will be joy and the presence of God. But, what if you end up in hell!
There are many criteria that one may be admitted in the new earth. Let me discuss a few cases here. (1) Revelation 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Jesus Christ gives his message to the church of Ephesians from verse 1 to 7. verses 2&3 are admiration and verse 4 is rebuke. These two cannot be to the same person in the church. Since a church has many members, these messages are to two groups of people. So, we may assume that the people who are admired may get to new heaven, while the group in verse 4 may get to new earth, if they have overcome as in verse 7 ... To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. If they do not overcome, they will be in hell as in verse 5.(2) 1 Corinthians 5:1-5, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. If God has given his punishment on earth, if he has repented and so on, he may be saved to enter new earth. Jude 1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. It is others pulled them out of fire, and the next step to fire is the new earth. Next verse is also the same as others straighten their life. 1 Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. Here, the life partners control their partner, not to sin. These are examples that others pull them out of fire or sin, so that they may enter new earth. Matthew 13:8,23. Here, 100 fold new Jerusalem, 60 fold new heaven, & 30 fold new earth. Matthew 20:1-16 work in field, all get one penny no matter how long they worked, it is new earth. Luke 16:20-23 Lazarus, he did not do anything, except suffered as a poor sick man. Matthew 22:1-13 wedding garment is covering of the soul, which is the holy spirit. Matthew 25:31-46, They took care of the servants of God, nothing more. It is new earth. "Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." If a worker in a secular job does his work as explained in verse 23, he will receive the reward as in verse 24, which in this case is new earth. "John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." There were already mansions, that is in Paradise, which is new earth. But God will be preparing a place, that is new heaven, which the sons of God will inherit. The third group is that Jesus will receive them unto himself, that is the bride of Christ, that is New Jerusalem. Please study that lesson from this link:

Heaven, New Jerusalem".
