"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Jesus Christ sent his disciples to preach the gospel when he was alive as a man. It is in Luke 9:1-6. Let us see verses 1,2,&6. "1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. 2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. … 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where." It is recorded in the other gospels also. Then Jesus Christ came to his disciples after his resurrection and told them to preach people to obey his commandments as his gospel for people to inherit eternal life. It is on Matthew 28 and Mark 16. They have preached his gospel and preached Jesus Christ as the author of the gospel and the author of salvation.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, ... That is, they must be converted from sinning and do righteousness, so that their sins of their past may be forgiven. Acts 4:2 ... they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead. That is, by teaching Jesus Christ, they taught his resurrection and that we also will be resurrected as he was resurrected. Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ. They have preached the life of Jesus Christ and him as the author of the gospel and salvation. Acts 8:4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word. 5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. Acts 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? Acts 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Acts 11:19 ... preaching the word to none but unto the Jews... 20 And ..., preaching the Lord Jesus. Acts 17:18 ... he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection. Acts 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him. And there are many more scriptures say that they have preached Jesus Christ and his commandments as the gospel for people to obey and to inherit eternal life.
The Bible is taught by the servants of God as well as by the servants of the devil. The servants of God teach the truth of the Bible and the servants of the devil teach the Bible as an attorney tears down the truth of a witness in order to erase the evidence of the truth. So, let us see the factual truth in their context as we study any passage of scripture, so that we may not fall as victims to the devil. Now, we will also look at Peter and Paul together, as Paul conflicts with Peter in a certain situation, as a rooky apostle conflicting with the veteran head of apostles.
Let us begin with a few scripture verses about Peter. Jesus Christ has said to Peter and his disciples in Matthew 16: "18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ." Here we see that Jesus, as Christ, has bestowed a great authority upon Peter, and it is an authority pertained to the church on earth and to the kingdom of heaven. No man, is given a higher post or position than this, by God. Satan the devil, tried to strip away the position given to Peter, with the help of all his servants, even now using all theologians and preachers. Jesus Christ confirms this in Luke 22: "31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Again, Jesus Christ gives Peter the responsibility to strengthen the other apostles also, even though Peter is a weak man at that time. Satan always finds ways to belittle the authority that Jesus Christ gives, in this case it is to Peter. We must not forget that Satan uses church leaders, preachers and theologians to strip the position that Jesus Christ has given to Peter.
In the book of Galatians, Paul struggles to prove his apostleship to believers. Believers with no discernments, accept all preachers as genuine witnesses to God. So, they have accepted deception. Paul is correcting this situation. At the same time, he has picked up a strife with Peter for a social situation. Let me quote the verses for both situation. This is about believers; Galatians 1: says, "6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." In this passage, apostle Paul, with the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, curses the false preachers and theologians. But as a rooky apostle, who may not know about the authority given to Peter by Jesus Christ, reviles at Peter for his social wisdom in eating his meals with the Jews, in this scripture; Galatians 2: Paul says, "11 But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed. 12 For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision." And he has continued to accuse Peter throughout the entire chapter. According to him, Peter should have eaten with the gentiles. Paul was a rookie or young apostle, when he has rebuked the veteran apostle Peter, for eating with Jews. Was it sin to eat with Jews? Mostly, theologians try to knock down Peter, because they are of the devil, and Peter was the chosen of God to begin the church and to lead God's people. Paul was never chosen by Jesus Christ to be the leader of the apostles. His mission was entirely different. But, Paul got excited and made a mistake. Don't rally with the theologians, if you are for God. Peter did not preach "another gospel". The Holy Ghost used this passage as a stumbling stone to false preachers and false brethren. Later on Paul confessed in 1 Timothy 5:1 saying "Rebuke not an elder, but entreat him as a father." But, false preachers even say that Peter has preached another gospel. God allowed Paul to make an error, in order to expose these false preachers, who are on the side of Satan.
"Romans 16:25 ... of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ. Romans 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ." Here we see that apostle Paul has preached Jesus Christ and also the gospel preached by Jesus Christ. So, he has fully preached the gospel. "2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted. Galatians 1:6 … unto another gospel: 7 … would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." The Bible gives severe warnings about introducing another Jesus Christ or preaching another gospel, that is other than the gospel that Jesus Christ has preached. Only gospel that Jesus Christ preached is the true gospel and all others are perverted gospels. So, if we preach, let us preach the gospel that Jesus Christ preached. If you preach even the story of Jesus Christ as the gospel, it is perverting the gospel and it is preaching another gospel. Those who preach them are cursed.
This is just to pick up samples of what Peter has preached. 1 Peter 1:25 says, "But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you." So, the word that was preached by the Lord Jesus Christ is the true gospel, and all others are another gospels. Let us see what he has mentioned in the previous verses. 1 Peter 1:2 says, "Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:" Here the message is that through the spirit, two things will happen. They are, our obedience to God and then the forgiveness by the blood of Christ. The word of God says everywhere that the pre-requisite to the forgiveness of sins, is obedience to Jesus Christ. Verses 3&4 say, "3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you," That is, if we have obeyed God and received forgiveness (previous verse), God the Father will beget us also as he has begotten Jesus Christ as his son, and then we will have the inheritance in heaven. That is, we will be joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. Next verses say that the necessity to suffer in this life, to receive the great glory of heaven, etc. Verses 14 to 17 say, "14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:" Again, obedience is unto holiness. And everybody will receive according to our works, but not according to what we say. Christians are learned to tell lies and false statements, and call them as faith. No!, these are not faith, but the lies they have learned from the devil. God repeatedly says that he has no favorites, and the judgment will strictly be by what we have done. But, Christians believe the devil and say that it is not by works, etc, that are lies. Obey God and do what God tells you to do, in order to inherit heaven. This is the basic principle of the gospel that Jesus Christ and all the apostles have preached.
"Jesus Christ" must be preached, as the author of the gospel, but not as the gospel. Jesus Christ sends his message, he is not the message. So, we must preach what Jesus Christ has preached as the gospel. But, the gospel that is preached by so many, is not the gospel that Jesus Christ preached. So, they are all deceivers and are false preachers. If we have preached what he has preached as the gospel, then we are preaching the true gospel. If not, we are preaching false gospel, or another gospel. Revelation 14 says, "6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters." Their message is very abridged. It identifies God as the creator and tells to worship God with fear. That is simply to obey God with high reverence. Verse 8 says, "... Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication." The churches of theologians and preachers, who belong to tradition, sentiment, ceremonies, etc are false churches, and they are (spiritual or religious) Babylon. Even the worldly people respects them as great men of God. Example: the news media will follow famous preachers and theologians, whereas they will reject the truth of the Bible. This church of deception that is Babylon and the world with it, will fall for the wrath of God. "Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness,..." So, the gospel that is good news is, to repent and to obey God, so that your sins may be forgiven and you may be spared from the wrath of God.
