"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

God lives in the glorious place called heaven. Isaiah 64 says: "4) For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him." The New heaven that God makes as a reward for his men that wait for God, is so glorious that even the description of it cannot enter in the minds of people. Our life on earth is considerably short when compared to eternal life. If we have obedience in this short life, as Jesus has suffered or obeyed, then we will reign with Jesus Christ throughout eternity. Won’t it be marvelous reward? Matthew 5:12 says, "Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven" if we suffer for Jesus Christ. But look at the reality. Matthew 10:41 and 42 says, that whoever receive a true prophet in the name of Jesus Christ, will get a prophet's reward and so on. But, we see in the Bible that the worldly prophets are received well by people and the true godly prophets are always prosecuted and are killed. So, what kind of reward will the people get!
1 Corinthians 3: 8 says, " ... every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour." So, God gives reward according to what we do. "Colossians 3:22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: 23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons." Here, the main points are, 1, God does not have favorites, he will not show favoritism, and he will reward according to what do we do. 2, If we fear God with singleness of heart, God will reward the inheritance in his kingdom. 3, But if we do wrong, we will receive wrong as reward. God calls heaven as well as hell as reward. Notice: even hell is reward. "Hebrews 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward;" Again, the punishment in hell is also mentioned as reward. Preachers say that the rewards are always in heaven. Heaven and hell are according to what we do and so both are called the reward. "Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be." Jesus Christ will reward both the just people as well as the unjust people, according to what they have done, even in the final judgment. Verse 14 says that those who obey him will inherit eternal life.
God Bless You
