The righteousness of
sinners are filthy rags. But the righteousness of saints should be arrayed
in fine linen, clean and white, for those who wear them are the bride of
Christ.

1. Strange Christianity, of
sinning and
righteous at the same time.
We are
living in a time of very strange Christianity. Most Christians say that they are
born again, born of the spirit, they are in Christ and Christ is in them, and so
on. But, before they take another breath, they will boast about the fact that
they are still sinning and they claim that they are saved by grace. But if you
say that you do not sin, then they will call you a liar and will say that you
are of the devil.
2. Righteousness is perceiving and obeying the commands of God.
Deuteronomy 6:25 it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he hath commanded us. But today's preachers say, if we obey the law of God, it is works and by works nobody will be saved and most people accept it. They call this righteousness, which we obtained by obeying God, as filthy rags. Then they say that if we do not sin, we do not need Christ. Saying that they blame us that we are rejecting the Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross, by not committing sin. That is, we have to be sinning in order to honor Jesus Christ and his sacrifice on the cross. It is ridiculous. The tragedy is that the majority of Christians believe this nonsense.
3. God is no respecter of persons, he accepts who work righteousness.
Let us see the next scripture. The context here is about the Holy Spirit baptism in the house of Cornelius. Gentiles of those days are equivalent to non-Christians of today. Acts 10:34... Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: 35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him. So those gentiles were doing the works of righteousness and they feared God. God accepted them just because of that. That is, God has accepted the gentiles because of their righteousness and has rejected the Jews because of their unrighteousness. But these preachers say just the opposite. They say that our righteousness is filthy rag to God and they want us to keep committing sin. These preachers are fully devoted to deceive people. In Matthew 5:20 Jesus says I say unto you that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. The righteousness of the religious people are filthy rags. That is why, Jesus Christ requires a higher righteousness, which shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. If you still have filthy rags as your righteousness, you will not enter into the kingdom of God. So, repent and obey God.
4. Sinners are servants of sin, it will reign them until it take them to death.
Romans 5:21... as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. The Bible says that sinners are servants of sin and sin will reign over them until it take them to death. So also, righteousness will reign people with grace and take them to eternal life under the lordship of Jesus Christ. But these people are so proud and don't want to be reigned by righteousness. So, they rejected righteousness calling it as filthy rags. So, God has rejected them and left them to be ruled by sin unto eternal death.
5. Put off the former conversation, the old man; be renewed in the spirit.
People pick up sins in their youth by the persuasion of their flesh, the world, and by Satan. Their righteousness at this time was filthy rags. Then God convicts them and tells them what to do. Ephesians 4:22 says ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; God wants them to put that life away. 23 says be renewed in the spirit of your mind; It is true repentance, which is to change their mind. 24 says ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. After verse 22 and 23, that is after putting off the old filthy rags, then put on righteousness and holiness, which is the apparel of the bride. We cannot put them on over the filthy rags. Romans 13:14... put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. That is you better don't give any room for the fleshly lusts, but you put on the Lord Jesus Christ. He is not a filthy rag. It is up to you to put him on. But, unless you throw away the filthy rag, you cannot put him on.
6. Those who do not defile their garments, shall walk with Jesus Christ.
Revelation 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. Notice here, They have not defiled their garments. So, the garment is still pure and not filthy. Jesus Christ says that they will walk with him in white. Listen to this. Jesus Christ says that they are worthy. People who fake humbleness always say that they are not worthy. If you are worthy, and even Jesus Christ says you are worthy, don't be afraid of it, neither be ashamed of it. Verse 5 says that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels…. Wow, Overcomers will be clothed in white, and so on. They may even be the bride of Christ. See the next verse.
7. Granted her to be in fine linen, clean, white; it was her righteousness.
Revelation 19:7 ... the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. Notice here, the wife has made herself ready by doing the works of righteousness. Fine linen is the righteousness of saints. What is your righteousness? Is it still filthy rags? If it is so, you are of Satan. Repent quickly. Come out of his grip and escape. If your righteousness is fine linen, clean and white, you are the bride of Christ. You are the blessed one. What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?
Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his
Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.What will the true Gospel do?
The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven.
John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
