Sabbath day - Means

"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Christians confuse the Sabbath day rest with Sunday worship. Seventh day of the week is the Sabbath day. God instructed Israel to take physical rest on the Sabbath day. Keep Sabbath day holy is to take total rest from all physical activities. Sabbath day commandment has nothing to do with worship. Disciples of Jesus Christ assembled with the brethren on the first day of the week for worship. But, it was not a mandate. We can worship God on any day at any time. Disciples went to synagogues to preach the gospel on Saturdays, but not to worship. Acts 20:7 And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight. 1 Corinthians 16:2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come. So, they came together on Sunday for fellowship, to break bread, prayer, and for apostle doctrine. This has nothing to do with sabbath. But we can worship God on any day any time.

Let me quote the fourth commandment. Please look at it, so that you may see whether is it the worship of Christians or the physical rest to the Israelite. Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Sabbath day is blessed and hallowed by resting on that day. Sabbath commandments was given to Israel, to take complete rest by the entire household. One more point should be included with the Sabbath commandment. In Numbers 15:30-36, we see that a man gathered sticks upon the sabbath day and God told Moses to stone him to death and he was put to death. So, sabbath is to take rest and if some one disobey, he/she will be stoned to death.

Seventh Day Adventists is a denomination, which started on 1863, says that they observe Sabbath day, which is the fourth commandment. But they neither take total rest from work, nor they stone to death any one who break the fourth commandments. They are ignorant fakes. They have no idea about sabbath. When they see Christians gather on Sundays, they call it sabbath and want to do mischief. And so they have started a cult, the Seventh Day Adventists. Their group has nothing to do with any commandments.
