"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. 2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

pastor of the Church of God (Tennessee).
My name is Isaac Livingston. I am from Neyyoor India.
God created man, Adam and Eve, placed them on the Garden of Eden, which is the Paradise of God. "Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." Then, God gave them a commandment saying that they must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If they eat, they will die on the day they eat. They ate and did not die outwardly in the flesh body, but their spirit body left them, and their glory of the body died. The Spirit that they had was the robe that was covering their body. The Spirit was a part of them.
God has created man and woman on the sixth day of creation, only in the form of the soul, but not with the body, according to Genesis 1:27 & 31, on the sixth day. God took rest on the seventh-day, according to Genesis 2:1-3. Verse 2:5 says, that even though the creation is complete on the sixth day, after the seventh day rest, there were no plants, since all were in the form of seeds, and there was no man either, because man and woman were in the form of souls. They have yet to receive their bodies. At creation, they (their souls) were in the image of God. But, the image of man, which is the body, was not yet given to them. "Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground," After the sabbath day, the body of man was formed, etc. Then, Genesis 2:7 says, "... and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." If we are not careful, we may misunderstand this verse. Most Christians think that God made a man of clay (that has no life), and breathed into his (its) nostrils the breath of life to bring the man to life. That is not what the verse says. A living man is already made by the soul and the body. Then, God breathed into this man (not just a body), the holy spirit (the breath of life, it is not air) and this man (who is already a man) became a living soul (man with spirit, man born of the spirit, or born again man). God has created man in three stages. 1) created the soul, in his image. 2) Then he created flesh man from the dust and joined the soul. Then 3) gave him spirit and made him a born again man, or spiritual man. Please notice one more thing. Our soul is in the image of the Soul of God and our spirit is in the likeness of the Spirit of God. At our birth, we are born with the flesh. "Genesis 3:19 ... till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." So, our body is made out of the dust of the earth, it is given as the tabernacle to the soul until our death, then the body return to the ground, that is the dust. Our body came from the dust and it will return to the dust. Our spiritual birth has to take place later, as we begin to crave for the spirit, in order to live a holy life to inherit eternal life.
Adam and Eve was complete with Soul, Body, and Spirit. They were in the Garden of Eden, which is the Paradise of God. Paradise is a part of heaven and so, their Spirit was already glorified and covers their body. So, they were not naked. "Genesis 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." But, they ate the forbidden fruit, immediately they died in the Spirit. That is the Spirit departed from them, and so they have no glory to cover them and so found themselves naked.
Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 19:28 "Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones,..." That is, If we follow Jesus Christ, the we can see him on his throne with all his glory. "1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." That is, on the day of resurrection, the sons of God will see Jesus Christ in his full glory and at the same time they will also have the same glory of Jesus Christ. How will that happen? "Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Our body is made out of the dust of the earth and we will return to the dust, with no exemption. So, our flesh body will be dissolved. "2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit." We are soul, body, and spirit. Our body that came from dust will return to dust. So the body is gone. But, if we are born again, or born of the spirit, we will have the spirit and it will cover our souls. It not only makes our soul alive as we live, it also will be the backup tabernacle to our soul after we die, or we may say that it is a building (house) that God has given us, that we were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession (Ephesians 1:13-14), in heaven. So, at the time our earthly body returns to dust, the spirit house will take over, and we (our soul) will not be found naked. In another word, this is what mortality is swallowed up with life eternal. This spirit that we are born again with, is the spirit that God gives us as earnest for our heavenly home. When we see Jesus Christ on that day, this spirit will be glorified completely, and we will look the same as our Lord Jesus Christ. But those who are not born again, or not born of the spirit, will be found naked. They will face the terror of God. "10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences." In heaven, we will be with soul and spirit. We will be like Jesus Christ with all the glory of the spirit.
I will reply promptly.Thanks.
God Bless You
