"Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.2 Corinthians 7:1 ... dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."
I am a retired pastor of
the Church of God (Tennessee).
My name is Isaac Livingston. I am from Neyyoor India.
God describes himself as three persons (souls) in one Spirit body. Because of his one Spirit body, he is one God. Because of his Souls, he is three persons. The Bible refers them as, most high God, the Word, and Spirit of God. In the New Testament the three names are recorded as 'God the Father', 'God the Son', who is declared as 'the Lord Jesus Christ', and 'God the Holy Ghost'. The persons in God has character attributes that are righteousness and holiness. The Spirit body of God is omnipotent, omnipresence, and omniscience. These three persons have joined together in one Spirit and created all that exist. Christians are taught that the word Trinity is for three in unity. In a way, it says that God is three persons united in One Omnipotent Spirit. Even though the name "Trinity" represent that God is three Souls in one Spirit, the Trinity doctrine carries a lot of scriptural errors to fit the religious side of Christianity. So, we should just take the name and ignore the doctrine. They also use the name 'Triune' and I say it "TriOne". These names just say that God is three persons in one Omnipotent Spirit.
God Bless You
