Two Raptures; Requirements for Rapture; How Rapture happens; No Rapture for 300 Years.

1. Our Bodies will not be taken in Rapture.

God created people in three days as three parts and put them together. God created the Spirit on the first day, called it light, and it is the life of the soul. God created the Soul in God's own image on the fourth day. He made the body from the dust of the earth after the seventh day, the sabbath day; and God joined them together and made man. The man was a living person by the life given to him by his blood; and his soul became a living Soul by the life given to his Soul by the Spirit. So, Adam was a flesh person, a man with flesh body, which is physical; and at the same time, Adam was a Spirit person by the life given to him by the Spirit. The Spirit gives life to the Soul as well as it becomes the body to the Soul. Adam had two bodies, a flesh body to be a physical person, and a Spirit body to be a Spiritual person. This is how God made man. Then God gave a commandment to Adam not to eat the fruit from the tree of Knowledge, saying that he will die on the day he eats it. Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree and both of their Spirit Persons died on the same day, and their Flesh Persons lived for a long time. So also even now, those who are purposely disobey God, either they do not have the Spirit, that is they are not born again, or if they were born again, they have grieved the Spirit and the Spirit have left them, that is their Spirit Person has died. But such people may continue to live as religious people, pretending themselves as godly people, and such people are fakes. Then God says that the body came from the dust of the earth, it will return to the dust, and it will not inherit eternity. So, the flesh body of a person will not go either to heaven or to hell, but it will return to dust. So, a person in heaven will have Soul with the Spirit body, and so, he will look similar to God in heaven. I have seen rapture in Christian movies. People disappear leaving behind their clothes on the floor, to indicate that the bodies of the people are raptured. But it is not true according to the scripture. And their bodies should be left behind in the rapture, to become dust, and only their spirits and souls would have gone in the rapture. But movies are not for truth anyway.

2. Flesh Person and Spirit Person.

We saw that Adam and Eve disobeyed God, and their Spirit persons died on the same day. So, their generations, or descendants were also born without the Spirit; that is, they were born as flesh persons only. So, God wants them to be born again, that is to be born of the Spirit, to become Spirit Persons also. If they are born again, they have received the Spirit that Adam and Eve had lost when they have sinned. So now, both kinds of people are in the world; one with the Spirit, and another without the Spirit; that is, one group is born again, and another is not born again.

3. You must know who you are.

God became a man, and he was Jesus. He was for the truth and for the Spirit. At that time, high priest, other priests, scribes, and Pharisees all were in religious hierarchy and in charge of the temple of God. All people who do ceremonies, rituals, festivals like Passover, and so on, were under their direction and control. They were all supposedly representing God and doing the works of God, but it seems that all of them were of the devil. On the other hand Jesus went to John the Baptist in the wilderness, but John was not in the temple. Jesus was on one side and all others were on the other side, and they killed Jesus and won the game. 2000 years have passed. Now we are here, calling ourselves as Christians. Which side are we on? On the side of popular religion, or on the side of Jesus and the Truth. The bible is the best evidence we have, for the Truth of God. Yet they are doing their best to pollute the bible, and they are succeeding in their effort. NIV translation is with all churches and believers. Now, are you with the religious Christianity, that is, are you with your church, pastors, preachers, church doctrines, rituals, ceremonies, song services, tithes and special offerings for the favor of God, special prayers from anointed preachers, and so on; Or are you for Jesus Christ and his apostles, and for what they have preached in the bible, and do you accept them as Truth? If you are with your church and preachers, you will be well off here in society, well respected, and will have good support from others. But if you are with the preachings of Jesus Christ and of the apostles, you will be rejected by Christians; but you will be seated in heaven though, as Jesus Christ is seated in heaven. Preachers pick up phrases, and one liner doctrines from the bible, to convince you that they are going by the bible. But if you have conscience that God has given you, it is not difficult for you to find the truth. You will study the epistles of apostles, as letters; but you will not pick up just a few lines as they show. They will take passages intended for the righteous saints and apply them to criminals and to immoral perverts. Be cautious with their teaching. Apostles wrote letters to their own fellowmen; but not to habitual sinners, criminals, perverts, and not for those whoever pick up and read the bible to claim that it is for them. Such sinning saints are even pastors and preachers in the world churches. But the letters were written to the body of Christ, which is the Spirit Church, but not to sinning people. We must study them as such but not apply them to sinning hypocrites.

4. The Requirements for Rapture.

Let us look at the requirements for rapture. First, you must be a Soul and Spirit person. So, you must have been born again, that is, you must have received the Holy Spirit from God. Second, you must have been sanctified and perfected. "Ephesians 5:25 ..., Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Many verses give such requirement for the rapture. Rapture is the process that God receives the perfected Spirit People to be with him forever. But the Spirit People, who are not perfected, also will be taken to heaven, but not by the process of rapture. Such people will be taken to Paradise, but not to New Heavens. The Spirit body of the raptured people will be glorified. These perfected people will have the status as the Sons of God, and they will have the glory as of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. It is in 1 John 3:2. "2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." So, these people will look like Lord Jesus Christ. They were sanctified, all their past sins were forgiven, and God has perfected them. They inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.

5. How does the Rapture happen?

Let us see how the rapture happens. Born again people have received the Spirit that Adam and Eve lost. This Spirit is called Spirit of man and also is called as the holy Spirit. Let us see what happens at the death of such a person. "Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Daniel 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days." So, when a born-again person dies, the Spirit goes to God, and the flesh body will return to dust since it came from dust, and the Soul goes to rest. Where does the Soul rest? Remember the story of Lazarus! Abraham was resting at Paradise. So the resting place of the born-again people will be in Paradise. "1 Thessalonians 4:14-17, 14 ..., even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." So, at the rapture, Jesus Christ will bring the Spirits of the people with him from heaven. "15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep." This is to say that the dead people will be raptured before the living people. "16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" At the sound of the trump, the Souls that are resting in Paradise will wake up from the rest and the Souls will join their respective Spirits, that is the Spirit Persons are raptured. "17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." Then the same thing will happen to perfected persons, who are alive; that is, their Spirit Persons will depart to be together with the Lord Jesus Christ, and their flesh bodies will be left behind.

The first rapture will happen without an event; that is, there will be no previous alarm, warning, or caution. It will be a total surprise to people if they can find out about it. "Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." This verse says that wars and rumors of wars are not the signs of the end, but preachers read this verse and preach that these are the signs of the end, and Christians have no problem to believe them. We always have war in some places, killings, tragedies, and such things happen all the time. Preachers must not use such events as preaching points to say that these are proof for the coming of Jesus Christ to rapture the church and to end the world. They preach sermons and write books on this topic, make people get excited, become famous, and make money. They do not even believe what they preach and write, still they do it. People also study their books and think that they know it all. It is the world of lies, pride, and fake. But even though it will bring no signs, scriptures give the timeline, and it says that it will not happen for another 300 years. Our study will help you avoid the end time hoax. Now, let us look at a previous prophesy and its fulfillment from history. "Daniel 8:11 says, he (it is Roman Empire) magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. 12 An host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, etc." God has given Israel in the hands of Rome because of her transgressions, they destroyed Jerusalem, the temple, the sanctuary, the daily sacrifice, etc. This prophesy was fulfilled at 70 AD. "13 How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? 14 he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." If we look at the situation today, considering the mosque is in Jerusalem, the compound of Islamic religious buildings that sit on top the Temple Mount, including the Dome of the Rock; the specific question could be from verse 13, "How long shall be … the host to be trodden under foot?", that is, how long will Jerusalem be trodden by others. Answer from verse 14 is 2300 days, a symbolic number. If we use the symbolic equivalent one day as one year, it will be 2300 years from the day of destruction. Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD. If we add 2300 years to it, it will be 2370 AD. Now the year is 2026. 2370-2026=344 years. So, in another 344 years, Jesus Christ will cleanse the host and begin his Millennium reign in the land of promise that God promised to the Seed of Abraham, who is Jesus Christ. When will the rapture be? Jews and Christians will have the great tribulation, just before Millennium. It will be for 2 x 3 1/2 = 7 years. Rapture is just before tribulation and tribulation is just before Millennium. So, 344 years to Millennium - 7 years of tribulation = 337 years to the rapture from today, now. But we cannot know the exact dates of God's doings. So, if we give 37 years as margin, that is, 337-37 = 300 years. So, we may safely say that Jesus Christ will not come at least for another 300 years to rapture his body, the church. This is according to scriptures, but not according to the hypes and excitements of Christians, preachers, book writers, and movie makers.

7. Sequence from the first Rapture to the end.

Let us see the sequence of the events first, and then we study them one by one. It is strictly from the scriptures, of what God wants us to know, and these are not stories and hypes. These events will begin first with rapture. Soon after the rapture, God sends two witnesses, one to Jews and another to Christians. It is mentioned in Revelation 11:1-12. Two witnesses are ministries, and they will coincide with the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation, which will be done by Satan and his people. Soon after the first tribulation, the second rapture will happen for the witnesses and for the martyrs of the first tribulation. Following this, God will do the second tribulation, mostly by natural disasters as earthquakes. These two tribulations are referres in Matthew 24:21 as, the "great tribulation, such as, we have never seen, since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be, that is even in the future such a tribulation will not happen." At the end of the second tribulation, Jesus Christ will come down, destroy the enemy completely, and will begin his Thousand Year Rule, which is known as the Millennium Reign. During the time of Millennium, Satan will be bound and will be shut up in the bottomless pit. The reign of Jesus Christ will be only on the promised land, which was promised to Abraham by God. It will be secluded from the rest of the world. It is not mentioned in the scripture what kind of rule there will be in the world during this time. However, Satan will not be there. After the Millennium, Satan will be released from the pit. Then under Satan there will be a world government with seven kings one after another, each about 100 years, so, it will be for about 700 years, and then Satan himself will rule directly rule as the king for 100 years. At the end of the 100-year, God will destroy the world, sun, moon, planets, and all; that is the whole solar system, it will be made one big ball of fire, and this will be called the lake of fire. Hell is inside the belly of the earth, and the whole earth will be thrown in the lake of fire. Satan and all the fallen angels, who are the devils will also be cast into the lake of fire. This is the end of the world, and the solar system. Preachers say that it may happen at any time now and so be ready. But it will take at least 300 years to the first rapture, then 1000 years for Millennium, then 700 years to the kings, and 100 years to Satan; so at least it will take 2100 years from now to the end of the world, by scriptures.

8. Two Witnesses of God; they are two ministries.

We will study the details of the two witnesses in the future. However, the witnesses will not be single persons, but ministries. One ministry will teach that Jesus Christ will be the Messiah to the Jews, and Jews must accept him for their salvation. Here salvation means both, Spiritual as well as earthly survival for the Jews. The other ministry will reveal Satan, who is sitting in Churches showing himself as God, for the last 2000 years, as in "2 Thessalonians 2:3. It refers to Satan as man of sin and, the son of perdition; and he must be revealed." These two ministries bring havoc among Christian and Jew communities, and Satan will actively stir this up and cause the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation. Satan will kill many people, including the witnesses who do the ministries. At the end of this 3 1/2 years, the next rapture will happen. It will rapture the people in the ministries, martyrs and the saints. Immediately following this, God will bring the second 3 1/2 years of tribulation by his wrath, taking vengeance on those ungodly people, who were murderers, killing people in the first tribulation. Then the Millennium follows.

9. What will be the Reasons for the First Rapture?

 The next event to the first rapture will be that God will send his two witnesses, one to the Jews and another to Christians. As soon as they begin their work, the first tribulation will begin. One of the reasons for the rapture is that God does not want his people to go through the tribulation. "1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." It says that Jesus Christ will save them from the wrath to come, which could be the great tribulation. Further the verse says that we should live with him, which will refer to Millennium as well as New Heavens. "Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." This verse also will apply to the first rapture, which will happen just before the first tribulation, which will happen simultaneously with the work of the Witnesses of God. "John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Those who are in the first rapture will be with Jesus Christ from then on, in the Millennium, and in New Heavens. God wants to save his perfected saints from the tribulation of the enemy, and so God saves them through rapture.

10. The Second Rapture; It is spectacular.

Second Rapture will happen at the end of the first Tribulation. This is also called Mid-tribulation Rapture, since it will happen in the middle of seven years tribulation. Revelation 11:1-10 tells about the ministry of the two witnesses of God. We may study them in detail latter. Their ministry will be very powerful, which will stand up to the enemy, even in resisting violence with miracles. Their ministry will be for 3 1/2 years, and the first tribulation by the devil also for the same time killing the ministry people, Christians and Jews. And at the end of the 3 1/2 years, the devil will rise up with all its power and will destroy the ministry by killing them all. At this time the wrath of God will begin. "Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them." The 3 1/2 days death represent those who will be killed during the 3 1/2 years in ministry, including the witnesses. They will be raptured at the end of the 3 1/2 years and it will be spectacular and special, even people will see them, as the disciples saw the ascending Jesus on the sky. It says that enemies beheld them, and great fear fell upon them. "Revelation 20:4 lists all those who will be killed by the first tribulation by Satan, 5 says that they will be in the second rapture, which the bible calls it as the first resurrection; by the way the first rapture was referred to as caught up. 6 says that the raptured people are blessed, and.., they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years." Revelation 7 tells about the preparation of the tribulation of God. And, let us see them who are raptured from the second tribulation in heaven. "Revelation 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; ... 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them." So, these martyrs will be special for rapture by God, even though they were not sanctified and perfected. All of them in the second rapture will serve God in the temple of God in paradise, and the presence of God will be with them in the temple always. 

11.  Nutshell information about Raptures.

So, rapture is receiving the Spirit Persons to heaven. They will rule in the Millennium with Jesus Christ and will be with God through eternity. Our flesh bodies came from dust, and so, they will return to dust; and they will neither inherit heaven, nor go to hell for eternity. There will be two raptures. The first rapture is referred to as caught up; and the second rapture is referred to as the first resurrection. The sanctified and perfected Spirit Persons will be raptured first, and those who will suffer or die for the cause of the Lord Jesus Christ will be raptured second. The rest of the Spirit Persons will be accepted in Paradise at the end of the world, after the judgment. It will not be referred to as rapture. Those who are not born again, have not received the Spirit from God, cannot enter heaven, and they will be cast into hell and then they will go to the lake of fire.

12. The Four Categories and their Positions.

Now, it is not difficult for you to know whether you are a Spirit Person, or not. And you may know which one of the four categories you belong to. Let us see the four categories and their position from this lesson. 1) Sanctified and perfected Spirit Persons will be in the first rapture. They will be in the New Heavens as Sons of God. 2) Spirit Persons, who will be suffering for Jesus Christ, and who will be martyred for the cause of Jesus Christ, will be in the second rapture. They will be Priests in the temple in Paradise. 3) Spirit persons who will not grieve or quench the holy Spirit in them, will go to Paradise. Paradise is part of heaven. And 4) Those who are not born again, that is, who do not have the holy Spirit in them, and those who had the holy Spirit but quenched the Spirit, cannot go to heaven. So, they will be cast in hell and hence to the lake of fire. These are the four categories we have looked at in this lesson. If you do not like the category that you are in, still you have time to change your category. If you like to change, God will help you. Otherwise, you may remain in the same category, and it is up to you.
