Preface

By the end of chapter 1, we have seen that God has given understanding about God to all people, but unrighteous people purposely rebelled against God. So, God has given them up to more perversion, and they became gay, lesbian, idol worshippers, and so on. Second chapter is the continuation.

Romans Chapter 2, verse by verse Study.

"1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things." This refers to unrighteous people; they are already condemned; and they accused each other who are in the same sins. Even at our present day, almost all mega pastors, grace ministry preachers, Calvinists, and such preachers are false pastors and deceivers. But they point out other preachers as false, and say that they are right, but doing the similar twists of the word of God and by perverting the gospel.

"2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things." But God assures us that God will punish them all, who teach deception and live in their sins, according to what God says in the true word of God, which is neither twisted nor perverted.

"3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?" There are hypocrites who preach the truth, yet live in the same sins, even they cannot escape punishment, since the judgment of God is according to what you do, but according to what you say or confess. Even hypocrites cannot escape from the righteous judgment of God, just by blaming others.

"4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?" God is the most righteous judge. But since he, being good and longsuffering, he is giving evil people including hypocrite preachers, also a chance to repent of their sins and hypocrisy. If they repent, they may have a chance to escape the eternal fire.

"5-11. 5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; 6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: 7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: 8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, 9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: 11 For there is no respect of persons with God." God says in verse 6 that judgment and rewards will be according to our works. But most preachers, being deceivers, pretending to preach grace in the name of grace gospel, preach that we are not saved by our works, or by what we do. They purposely twist scriptures. The scriptures truly say that salvation is not by the works of any ceremony, like circumcision, or church participation, church membership, etc. But they call such things as righteousness, and thereby they preach perversion or the gospel of Satan, and God will punish all of them in the lake of fire for preaching the false gospel. But we all must do godly righteous works to prove that we are of God. Those who obey the truth of God and do righteous works, will inherit eternal life and the kingdom of God in heaven. But those who are hard hearted to disobey the commands of God, will be eternally punished in the lake of fire. It applies to all people, and there will be no difference between Jews and Gentiles, or Christians and non-Christians, sine God says that he is not the respecter of persons. No evil working person will escape damnation, and all those live righteous lives will have inheritance in the kingdom of heaven.

"12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;" Here the law refers to Mosaic law, but not the Ten Commandments, so it will apply to the Jews only, sine they are not universal.

"13 For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified." Jews will be considered just, only if they obey the laws. But they used to listen to the reading of the laws ceremonially by the scribes, and walk away untouched without understanding them.

"14&15. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: 15 Which show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;" God gives conscience to all people, by which we all know the mind of Christ and the laws of God, beyond the Mosaic laws, including the Ten Commandments. God gave the commandments and the written laws to the Jews. So, the Jews has received more than the Gentiles. God says in "Luke 12: 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more." Our study verses also say the same thing. So, there is no excuse for anybody. We must obey God in as much it is given to us, even in our conscience. If not we will be punished for not obeying God, and it will be in eternity in eternity. We are accountable for what we have received.

"16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." Here apostle Paul says it as ‘my gospel.’ Few preachers of the devil take advantage of this and preach nonsense. But there is no other gospel except the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, and Paul meant it as the gospel he preaches, which is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Judgment will be according to how we obey his commands.

"17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, 18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;" It will very well apply to present-day Christians; they say that they stand by the bible; and talk very highly about God and the Lord Jesus Christ. They claim that they know God in a personal way, know the ways of God, and approve the truth.

"19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, 20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law." They say that they know it all, probably they may have the knowledge.

"21-23. 21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? 22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? 23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?" But the catch is that even if they have the knowledge of the word of God, they will not do what they teach, but do just the opposite, and so, they prove themselves to be pathological liars; and they are ungodly hypocrites.

24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written." Pharisees, Scribes, priests, and all were given the oracles of God, and yet they, being hypocrites, were enemies to Jesus and to God. But they were proclaiming that they were right. Apostle Paul was Saul at that time, and he was on their side. So, he knows them well. Now, he is being on the side of God, calls others as they are. At present, as history repeats, all these accusations are very well fit with the organized churches hierarchy, all the church leaders, and preachers.

"25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision." Jews do circumcision ceremony but will not obey the commands of God. So, according to God, their circumcision is invalid, and so, God will not consider them as Jews. Christians take baptism as a child, or water baptism as an adult, and consider themselves as Christians. Romans 6 says, "3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore … we also should walk in newness of life. 6 henceforth we should not serve sin." They do not follow the truth of baptism. So, their baptism is void, and God does not consider them.

"26-29. 26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? 27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." If a Jew took circumcision ceremony but is not living according to the laws given to Jews, God considers him as a Gentile, but not as a Jew. And if a Gentile, who did not have circumcision, but live according to the laws given to Jews, God considers him as a Jew, the chosen of God. So also, it will be applied to Christians. If a Christian lives not in the righteousness of God, God will not consider him as a Christian; and if a non-Christian lives in the righteousness of God, God will consider him as a true Christian, and he will inherit the kingdom of God in heaven, while the unrighteous Christian will be cast into hell and in the lake of fire. So, we can say that God considers our life of righteousness for eternity, but not our ceremonies. Jesus Christ says the same thing in "Matthew 8:11&12, 11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." So, according to the Lord Jesus Christ, even non-Christians, who live in the righteousness of God may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven, while hypocritical preachers, who even preach the truth, if they do not live in the righteousness of God, may not even enter the kingdom of God in heaven.

Looking for the true gospel? This site has the true gospel!

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
