The Holy Ghost is God and the Holy Spirit is part of man. The Holy Spirit, who is the spirit of man, is given to repented sinners. Often this spirit is mistaken for Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost governs the church, which is the body of Christ and he partake in the salvation of people.

A soul is a person. God has soul according Judges 10:16 & Matthew 12:18. God made man, who is a soul, in his image as in Genesis 1:26&27. God gave him body from the dust according to Genesis 2:7 & 3:19. God gave him spirit from his breath. Then man became living soul or living person as in Genesis 2:7. So, if a man does not have the spirit, God considers him as a dead man. Isaiah 63:11 he put his holy Spirit within him. Zecharia 12:1 God form the spirit of man within him. So, God put the holy spirit and calls him the spirit of man since he put him in man.

When Adam and Eve have sinned, their spirit left them and so their souls were dead even though their bodies continued to live. When David has sinned, he was afraid that the same thing may happen to him also. So he prayed to God in Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. God granted his prayer and his spirit was not taken. David recognized that the spirit of man is holy. God may give it and he may take it away also. God gives the holy spirit to a repented soul and gives him so long a time to be converted. If the person will not stop sinning, in a certain day God takes the holy spirit away from him as in Hebrews 3:7, 13, 15 & 4:7. Then he will close the door for him as in Matthew 25:10. That is his end.

Ephesians 2:1 who were dead in trespasses and sins: 5 Even when we were dead in sins. Colossians 2:13 you, being dead in your sins. That is, if we are in sin, our body lives but God look at us as dead souls, that is, we are dead persons to God. Let us see the rest of the verses. Ephesians 2:1 you hath he quickened, who were dead. 5 we were dead in sins, he hath quickened us. Colossians 2:13 being dead in your sins, hath he quickened. So, God quickened them, that is he gave them life. That is, God gave the holy spirit to the dead persons so that they may be living persons.

If God has given us the holy Spirit, Galatians 5:16 says Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. So, since our flesh and our spirit desire opposite things, God tells us to do what the spirit says so that we will not sin. Romans 8:13 if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. That is, if we do the things the flesh craves, we will die eternally. If we do what the spirit says, we will not do sin, that is, our sinning is mortified. Then we will inherit eternal life. Thus, we will become sons of God. Ephesians 4:30 tells not to grieve the holy spirit. 1 Thessalonians 5:19 tells us not to quench the holy spirit. If we do, we are children of darkness without having any light of God and we will be damned eternally. So we must decide to walk in the spirit.

If we do not have the spirit, how to receive the holy spirit from God? The spirit was removed or not given because of sin. So, the first and foremost thing to receive the spirit is to repent of our sins. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The gift, one gift is the holy spirit. So repent and be baptized. Ephesians 1:13 says ye also trusted, you heard the word of truth, the gospel of salvation: you believed God, and after that, you were sealed with that holy Spirit. So do these. Luke 11:9 I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? So, Holy Spirit is given as the gift. So, he is not God. You cannot get God as a gift. We must repent, trust Jesus Christ and the gospel that he preached, submit yourself as a child to God and then ask the heavenly Father until you receive the holy spirit.

People ask, how do we know if we have the holy spirit? If you twist scriptures and lift one verse to void the other to prove your doctrine, you do not have the holy spirit. If you love the wholesome word of God to live by it, hate sin, love holiness, and do righteousness, then you have the Holy Spirit, and he is given to be a part of man.

But, the Holy Ghost is God. 2 Timothy 3:16 says All scripture is given by inspiration of God. So, if the Holy Ghost has inspired the scriptures, then the Holy Ghost is God. Notice, Acts 1:16 this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before. Acts 28:25 well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the prophet unto our fathers. 2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. So, according to these verses the Holy Ghost has inspired the scriptures and so the Holy Ghost is God.

The creator is God. In Genesis 1:2 the Spirit of God has part in creation. Job 26:13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. Psalm 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth. In New Testament, according to Luke 1:35 & Hebrews 10:5 he joined with the Most High God to create a body in the womb of Mary so that Jesus be born. Since the Holy Ghost is creator, he is God.

Romans 8:11 says if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. The Holy Ghost raised Jesus Christ from his death to eternal glory and if he abides in us, he will raise us also at the rapture. So, the Holy Ghost will resurrect and takes us in rapture. So, he is God.

Hebrews 10:29 says Holy Ghost is also the Spirit of Grace. One side he is very merciful. The other side he demands respect and fear from us. Matthew 12:31 I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. That is, blasphemers will eternally be damned. According to Acts 5:1-11 Ananias and Sapphira were killed on the spot for tempting the Holy Ghost in order to inflict fear among the people and great fear came. Matthew 10:28 says to fear God only. Here, God wants us to fear the Holy Ghost and so the Holy Ghost is God.

1 Corinthians 6:19 says know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? That is, you are the temple of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 3:17 says If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. That is, you are the temple of God. So, it is obvious that the Holy Ghost is God.

The next important thing is that the spiritual things are as real as the material things. But the spiritual things cannot be sensed or proven by material means. If we have not received the holy Spirit from God, we will have no understanding about spiritual things. Proverbs 20:27 The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. 1 Corinthians 2:10 God reveals unto us the deep things of God by his Holy Ghost. 11 the holy spirit know the things of a man and the Holy Ghost knows the things of God. 12 since we have the holy Spirit we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 we speak things that the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Here, the Holy Ghost teaches the holy Spirit and through the spirit of man we understand. Most Christians study scriptures from churches or seminaries. They are taught that they are born again and they have the holy Spirit. Matthew 15:14 says they are blind leaders of the blind.

Now let us see the baptism of the Holy Ghost. This is a controversial topic. Many Christians say that it is of the devil and they hate the gift of speaking in tongues. It is sad. Matthew 3:16&17 say God the Father and the Holy Ghost baptized Jesus when John baptized him in water. According to Isaiah 61:1&2 the Holy Ghost guided Jesus to cast out devils, heal the sick, preach the gospel, etc. Jesus waited for the Holy Ghost to start his ministry. In Acts 1:4,5&8 Jesus Christ told his disciples to wait until they receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost and power of God. Holy Ghost baptism is the license given by God to do the work of God. Now, ordinations and degrees qualify preachers. If people don't have the holy Spirit and if the minister doesn't have baptism of the Holy Ghost, then it is a dead ministry even if the minister has degrees and thousands of people are in congregation. However, Holy Ghost baptism is not a requirement to eternal life, but the holy spirit is a requirement. The baptism is the license to do the ministry.

According to Acts 1&2 Holy Ghost baptized people on the day of Pentecost, filling them with power and gave them gifts and ministry. Acts 2:47 says the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. The Holy Ghost has founded the Church and made ministers in Churches to serve the believers so that they may receive eternal life according to 2 Corinthians 3:6 and made overseers in churches a/c to Acts 20:28. The Holy Ghost gives power and gifts severally dividing to believers as he will according to 1 Corinthians 12:4-11. He gives gifts even to the rebellious people so that God might dwell among his children a/c to Psalm 68:18. The gifts are for spiritual growth of individuals as well for the Church. With the gifts and ministry the Holy Ghost makes them one body whether Jews or Gentiles or bond or free according 1 Corinthians 12:13. The Holy Ghost led Jesus Christ to the wilderness to be tempted of the devil and brought him back with power to do the work of God as in Luke 4:14. the Holy Ghost guided Apostle Peter to Cornelius and showed that God is not a respecter of persons and that Jews and Gentiles are equally considered for eternal life in Acts 10:19&20. In Acts 13:2 The Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. He has prevented workers from doing the ministry if it is not God's will as in Acts 16:6. The Holy Ghost helps believers even in basic things as to what to pray and intercede a/c to Rom 8:26-27. He gives ministerial gifts to the Church as in Ephesians 4:11-13 for the perfecting of the saints as Jesus Christ is perfect. He produces fruits in believers in all goodness, righteousness and truth; unto holiness, the end everlasting life according to Ephesians 5:9, Romans 6:19&22. Jesus says in John 14:26 The Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. So, the Holy Ghost does the work of Jesus Christ in his place. John 16:8 says when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: vs 13 when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: Titus 3:5 he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; A sinner must be sanctified by the Holy Ghost to be saved a/c to Romans 15:16 & 2 Thessalonians 2:13. This is the work of the Holy Ghost without which we could not have been saved.

People ask what is the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost? Let me explain it rather than giving an one word answer. God gives the Holy Spirit as a gift to a repented believer. Such believers may receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. In the baptism, Holy Ghost comes upon them, giving them power, joy, excitement, etc and then leaves them with gifts like speak in tongues, prophesy, etc. Acts 2:4, 10:46 and 19:6 say they spoke in tongues at the Holy Ghost baptism. So, we may say that speak in tongues is the evidence. However, now people teach, learn and practice to speak in tongues. It is counterfeit. Acts 2:4 says they speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. In the baptism, the Holy Ghost gives the gift to the spirit of man so that the spirit gives the utterance and the person speaks.

Now, How about the abiding of Holy Ghost? We have received the Holy Spirit, which is the spirit of man, so that we may obey God. Then we are baptized with Holy Ghost or we are under the ministry of the Holy Ghost. We are being edified and perfected according Ephesians 4:11-13. Now since the Holy Ghost is with us and if we obey him according to John 14:16,17 & Acts 5:32 he may abide in us. 1 Corinthians 6:19 says that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and you are not your own. So, we belong to him. 1 Corinthians 3:16 says that ye are the temple of God and the Spirit of God dwell in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy. So, it is not an easy joke that the Holy Ghost abide in is. How do we know the Holy Ghost lives in us? If we are his temple, we will fear him and we will be holy.

Let me sum it up. God gives us the holy spirit for our holy living. This spirit is the 3rd part in man. He makes us know spiritual things. The Holy Ghost is God. He is the 3rd person in the body of God. Those who have the Holy Spirit may receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost for their ministry. Gift of tongues by the utterance of the spirit is the evidence of Holy Ghost baptism. Holy Ghost may abide in us if we obey him. Then we will be the temple of God.

Three Spirits are known by the name, "the Spirit of God" in the Bible. They are, 1). The one and only Spirit, who has the omni-powers, is God. 2). Holy Ghost, who is a person, is one of the three souls nested in the Spirit of God. But he is not a spirit, even though he is called as a spirit. And 3). Holy Spirit, he is Spirit of man, and he is also called 'Spirit of God.'

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
