Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be upon you.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Verse 14 says that the Word became Jesus. So, Jesus Christ was God from the beginning. Vs 3 all things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. So, Jesus Christ created everything that is created. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Put these verses together we see that Jesus Christ the creator is God. Isaiah 45:18 thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; So, Isaiah says the creator Jesus Christ is God himself. Ephesians 3:9 says God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: That is God the Father told Jesus Christ to create all things and Jesus Christ created them. Now, look at Genesis 1:3 God said, Let there be light: That is, God the Father tells Jesus Christ to create the light. 3 there was light. That is, the light was created. 4 says God divided the light from the darkness. It says that God created the light. Here Jesus Christ is called as God. Throughout the entire creation, God the Father, who was God the Most High, was telling another God to create them according to verses 6, 9, 14, 20 and 24. God the Word, who is Jesus Christ, has created them according to verses 7, 10, 16, 21 and 25. In every incident Jesus Christ was called as God. 26 God said, Let us make man in our image, etc. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Jesus Christ is included here in creation and was called God. So, even from Genesis chapter 1, Jesus Christ is called God. In this creation account 10 times Jesus Christ is called as God.

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple. Why did the Jews took stones to kill him, why they got so angry? It was because Jesus was telling them that he was the “I AM” who talked to Moses. Exodus 3:14 says God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Here, we see that God was the I AM and Jesus Christ told the Jews that he was the I AM, who was God before Abraham.

One more thing. The same I AM, who was Jesus and God, speaking to Moses. Exodus 6:2 God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty. Here Jesus Christ says that he was God and God Almighty. 3 times Jesus Christ is referred here as God.

Isaiah 7:14 Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Here, the child is Jesus Christ and he will be Emmanuel, which is God with us. Here Jesus Christ is mentioned as God. Matthew 28:18 After his resurrection Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, 20 lo, I am with you always, That is, after resurrection Lord Jesus Christ is omnipotent and omnipresent, who is nothing but God. So, Jesus Christ tells them that he is now God. 2 Timothy 4:22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. We are blessed with omnipresent Jesus Christ. God is the only one who is omnipresent. So he is God. Isaiah 9:6 unto us a child is born (fulfilled in Luke 1:35), unto us a son is given (fulfilled in Acts 3:26): and the government shall be upon his shoulder: (it will be fulfilled in Millennium) and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, Isaiah says that Jesus Christ is the mighty God, which is fulfilled. In these scriptures, 5 times Jesus Christ is called as God.

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only one who will appear on that day. So, he is called the great God. Further it says that our Saviour is Jesus Christ. So, if our Saviour is God, then Jesus Christ is God. Now look at the following verses. 1 Timothy 2:3 this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4:10 we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men. Titus 1:3 committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour; 2:10 that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. 3:4 after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Jude 1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour. Isaiah 45:21 there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour. Here, the Bible says that our Savior is Jesus Christ and God is our Savior. So, scriptures say the Lord Jesus Christ is God. It says that Jesus Christ is God 8 times being the Savior.

Titus 2:14 says Jesus gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity. So Jesus Christ is the redeemer. Job 19:25 I know that my redeemer liveth, (redeemer is Jesus Christ) and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: (it is at his second coming) 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: Here Job calls Jesus Christ as God. Acts 20:28 to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Hear, the one who has purchased with his own blood is God, So Jesus Christ is God. Hebrews 1:8 unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee. Here, God the Father and the Holy Ghost call Jesus Christ as God. In this section Jesus Christ is called God 4 times. I keep the count.

The Lord Jesus Christ comes again to gather his people. Acts 1:11 this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Revelation 2:25 Jesus Christ says hold fast till I come. 3:11 Behold I come quickly: 16:15 Behold I come as a thief. 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: 12 Behold, I come quickly: 20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. All these verses say that Jesus Christ is the one who is coming back to earth. Now, let us see who is this Jesus Christ who is coming. Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Here the one which is to come is Almighty. So Jesus Christ is the Lord & Almighty. Revelation 4:8…they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is and is to come. Here Jesus Christ is Lord God Almighty. Revelation 15:3 and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; Here the Lamb is God Almighty. Revelation 11:17 We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come. Revelation 19:15 he shall rule them with a rod of iron: (he is Jesus Christ) he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. In this section, Jesus Christ is called Almighty & God 5 times.

John 5:22 says the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son, God the Father gave all judgments to the Lord Jesus Christ. Revelation 16:7 Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments. That is, the judge is Lord Jesus Christ and so he is Lord God Almighty. Revelation 18:8 she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her. Jesus Christ is the one judge her and so he is Lord God. Revelation 19:1 glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God: 2 For true and righteous are his judgments: Here again Jesus Christ is the judge and so he is Lord our God. Psalm 82:8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: Even in the book of Psalms, Jesus Christ is called God, as he being the judge. So for being the judge, he is called God 4 times.

Revelation 22:6 the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel. Who is this Lord God who sent his angel? 16 I Jesus have sent mine angel. Here we see that Jesus Christ is the Lord God. If you took a note of it, I gave 40 scripture verses that proclaim Jesus Christ as God.

There are cults that say Jesus Christ is not God. I understand that and they are of the devil. But it bothers me when smart aleck Christian preachers say that Jesus Christ is not God. You know that they are not actually Christians. They come showing themselves as Christians to deceive as in 2 Corinthians 11:14-15. Please take a note of the scriptures and confront them with the word of God if they come to you.
