John the Baptist was born with the spirit of Elijah and filled with the Holy Ghost even before he was born. Our sins that are past are forgiven by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and the instinct to sin, that is, all unrighteousness in us, that is, the desire or the potential to commit sins, are taken away by the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. The scripture lesson here is from the gospel of John 1:19-37. Every study from the scripture is important to us.

John 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou? 20 he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ. In verse 21 they asked him Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. That prophet was the prophet, prophesied by Moses in Deuteronomy 18:15-19, it was about Jesus. Every Christian must read this. 15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. These are very strong words. Even the OT says that we must obey the words of Jesus Christ, because they are from God the Father and God will require it. So, we must obey the gospel that was preached by Jesus Christ, but not the gospel preached by our men. Our preachers tell the story of Jesus Christ and say that it is the gospel of Jesus Christ. No, it is just the story of the author of the gospel. What Jesus Christ has preached is the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are telling the story of Jesus Christ and ask you to believe the story and say that is the gospel. It is not true and it is deception. The point here is that, John told them in many ways that Jesus was that prophet and we all must obey whatever he says. John 1:22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? 23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias. God has sent John to the wilderness to preach, but not to the temple or to Jerusalem. God has rejected the prominent people and prominent places and gives his word to John the Baptist in the wilderness. Let us see one point in Luke 3:1-4. The word of God came to John. In these verses God says that while he gives the word to John, he was rejecting all important people including the high priests of God himself. If you pay attention to the verses, you will see it. Luke 3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. See that, God skipped every important men and gave the word to John. 3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. See, the most important mission of God at that time has by-passed all important persons and all important places and has come to an insignificant man in an insignificant place. Even today, all glamour are in mega churches, television ministries, famous denominations, celebrity preachers, international ministries, faith ministries, healing & miracle crusades, etc. In spite of all the glamour, the presence of God, with the true gospel message, is not with them, but with unimportant men in unimportant places. John 1: 24 they which were sent were of the Pharisees. 25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet? 26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; 27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose. Luke 3:16&17 and Matthew 3:11-12 explain it better. They say, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. So, Jesus baptizes people with the Holy Ghost, purge them with the spirit of burning that is by refiner's fire, choose his people into his kingdom and punish the worthless chaff, in the lake of fire. John 1: 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. One of the reasons that John has started water baptism was to reveal Jesus. So, he started the water baptism and Jesus came to receive baptism from John & he baptized Jesus. We see it in Matthew 3:16. It says: Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: That is explained here in John 1: 32 John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. 33 I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. It was confirmation that he is the Son of God and the Spirit of God has come to live in him. Jesus Christ will baptize people with the Holy Ghost & with refining fire. One thing, hell fire is different from refining fire. Hell fire is a punishment, but refining fire will purify the people as in Zechariah 13:7-9 & Malachi 3:1-4. John 1:35 Again the next day after John stood and two of his disciples; 36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! 37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. A natural man will follow a man of fame or power. That is, they would follow Jesus if he had present himself as the Lion of Judah. But here, Jesus is introduced as the lamb of God, who will be killed as a sacrifice or to be sent into a wilderness as a scapegoat. There is no pride, glamour, fame or glory in it. But, the true disciples followed Jesus when they heard that he was the Lamb of God. Verse 29 also says, John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, notice this which taketh away the sin of the world. Every preacher preach about Jesus on the cross as a sacrifice. This is different from he being a sacrifice. It appears that John repeats the same thing. But, he was not. If we look in the OT, 2 different kinds of sins are taken care of in 2 different ways. One is, ignorant sins & 2, all other sins. Let us first see the sins of ignorance. Leviticus  4 explains, who qualify forgiveness of sins through sacrifice, that is by shedding of the blood. As the Lamb of God, Jesus fills in as the sacrifice. Let us see, who can be forgiven, and verify whether are we qualified to be forgiven or not. It is important to know, because God will do things according to his word, not according to what churches teach nor according to the opinions of the majority of Christians. Let us look. Leviticus 4:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD.... 3... let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering. Then through out the whole chapter it tells the same thing to different people. 13 if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, etc 14 then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation. 27 if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, etc 28 then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned. Even in Leviticus 5:15, 17, 18, it goes on the same way. So, here all the sin sacrifices are applied to different people, only if, they have committed sin through ignorance of God's commandments. If it is so, most Christians will not come under the category of sin of ignorance, because they already know that they are committing sin. Then, the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross may not even apply to most Christians, since their sins are not sins of ignorance. Let us look at the words of Jesus Christ for forgiveness! Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. The reason for forgiveness was, they know not what they do. It was sins of ignorance. Then, what is the remedy for people, who commit sin and know it is sin? A goat carries all iniquities & all sins away into the wilderness. It is in Leviticus 16:21 & 22 Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness. A goat takes away all the sins of the people. The sacrificed bullock was for ignorant sins only. The Christian preachers had never teach this section. They pretend as if this never happened. It might have been traditionally avoided for the last 1500 yrs or more. But in John 1:29, John the Baptist points out that Jesus taketh away the sin of the world, as the Lamb of God. Takes away sins and forgives sins are two entirely different works. Jesus himself hung on the cross was the sin sacrifice to forgive sins that was committed in ignorance. But, the sins that was committed knowingly are not handled on the cross. Jesus Christ takes away the sin of the world, that is all sins, as scapegoat. This is important for Christians to know. They always say that they are saved by the blood. But the blood will not cover all sins. You may make fun of me when you hear this. But it is scripture. Now, who is the scapegoat for us? Nobody, other than Jesus Christ was appointed by God to take away the sins. He is the Lamb of God that takes away the sins as well as he was the Lamb of God, who hung on the cross to forgive sins. There is no other Lamb of God other than the one, who is Jesus Christ. There was one Messiah to be cut off and one Messiah to restore and to build. Both are one person. The same Messiah, who was cut off will restore and build. It is the Lord Jesus Christ. The topic of sin is very important. Every person loves sin because it is the pleasure of our flesh and mind. We all enjoy it. But, it is the enemy of our spirit, if we have Spirit from God. It will prevent our spirit life and will deceive our inheritance in the kingdom of heaven. Please click on these two links which will explain how can we inherit the kingdom of God and how God forgive and takes away our sins. The link is: "Take away Sin is to Remove".

In the NT, the ministry of Jesus Christ is of two parts. One as a man and the other as God. As a man he lived a holy life, so that we may follow his steps according to 1 Peter 2:21-22. 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: As God, he gives us power and grace to live such a life. Acts 3:26 says God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities. As God, with his power, he turns us away from iniquities and sins. That is, he takes away our sins. That is, he will separate us from our sins by his supernatural power and grace. Matthew 1:21 thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. That does not mean that he will take us to heaven while we are keep on sinning, but he will separate us from our sins and then take us to heaven. Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, (that is Jesus Christ according to Acts 3:26) that he might redeem us (redeeming is not keeping us in sin, but taking us out of sin) from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Again redeem us does not mean that he will keep us sinning. But takes us out of sinning, and makes us pure people, who will do only good works, but not sin. 1 John 3:5 he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he (Jesus Christ) might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: By this we know, who are the children of God and who are the children of the devil. Here, these verses are so simple and anybody will understand, unless you do not want to understand them. It is clear that Jesus Christ removes sin from his people. If sins are not taken away from us, then his grace and power are not with us. Christian preachers tell us that we have grace and power and we are saved while we are yet committing sin. This is not true. Christians love their lies because they enjoy their sins and don't want to be separated from sins. That is why, preachers do not preach the resurrected Jesus Christ who turns people away from their sins. They preach another Jesus, another spirit & another gospel as it is explained in 2 Corinthians 11:4.

Looking for the true gospel? This site has the true gospel!

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
