Even it appears impossible we still can become perfect because of the grace of God. People think that nobody can become perfect. But, it is God who makes his people perfect.

Is it a cliché to say that I am perfect in Christ Jesus? Most people who say that they are perfect in Christ Jesus, do not mean what they say. They mean that Christ Jesus is perfect and since Christ is in them, they qualify themselves as perfect. It is a cunning way of telling lie. They are neither perfect nor they are in Christ. They are crooked.

To live a perfect life is a hard task for anybody and everybody. Yet Jesus Christ told his disciples in, "Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." There is a catch to it. He did not tell the professing Jews to be perfect. Jesus told them that they are of their father the devil. "John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do...." He turned around to told his disciples: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." The logic is that we will do as our fathers do. Father God is really perfect. So, his children want to be perfect. The children of the devil don't want to be perfect.

So, what the devil will do? Satan and his servants always challenged God. They challenge God in this also. But, there were many people lived perfect lives even in the OT. There are saints live perfect lives in NT also. So, it is possible that we can also live perfect lives.

"Philippians 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded." This was spoke to perfect people in Philippians. The apostle rebukes the Corinthian Church for her sins. In the middle of the rebuke he recognized that there were perfect people in the Church and spoke to them in spiritual wisdom. "1 Corinthians 2:6 ... we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world..." So, there were perfect people among Corinthians also. So also, there will be perfect people in all true churches.

The main function of a Church is to become perfect as Jesus Christ was perfect even to the measure of his perfection. "Ephesians 4:11.. he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ." But most Churches teach that man cannot become perfect. If churches do not strive to become perfect, then they are neither churches nor the body of Christ.

If the Church is the Bride of Christ, then she will be made without spot, wrinkle, or any such things. That means, the true Church will become perfect and holy. "Ephesians 5:25... Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." Jesus Christ died for the church in order to purify the Church to make it perfect for himself. Apostle Paul wants to present the church as a chaste virgin to Christ. But, false workers, with subtlety of Satan, deceives the church. "2 Corinthians 11:2 I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." Here, the simplicity of Christ accepts a chaste virgin as his bride and no other. Most preachers preach to sinners who are spiritually harlots, to come as they are to Christ to be accepted as his bride. But sinners are suppose to be warned not to be accepted as his bride. "Colossians 1:28 ... we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus: 29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily." True servants of Christ strive to make people perfect. But false preachers use the phrase 'perfect in Christ Jesus' as a cliché just to deceive people. But, no unholy thing can enter Christ. A sinner must become pure before he enters Christ. Only a perfect man can be in Christ.

"Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Collossians 4:12 ... that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. Hebrews 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ..." Jesus Christ make you perfect according to the will of God. But the devil just calls a sinner perfect in Christ.

"1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; 5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: 6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness." And God will help you to make you perfect by his grace and power.

Looking for the true gospel? This site has the true gospel!

What is the true gospel and what are false gospels?

Matthew 28:20, & Mark 16:15. Jesus Christ preached his commandments to obey, as his Gospel; it is the true Gospel to inherit Eternal life. Genesis 3:1-4 & 2 Corinth 11:2-4. But Preachers, who are Serpents of Satan, preach the life of man Jesus just to believe, but not to live as a chaste virgin, as the gospel; it is another gospel, which cannot and will not give Eternal life.

What will the true Gospel do?

The true gospel will convert evil people to do good and thereby they will inherit the kingdom in heaven. John 3:19-21 say that people are two kinds, evil and true. Evil doers will not come to the Light, who is God; but people of truth come to God for their deeds to be made manifest. We have good and evil people by our standard of our society or culture. These evil people may be converted to be doers of truth by the power of God, and they may inherit the kingdom of God in heaven.
