Preachers land on a few chosen verses in the scriptures by helicopters and teach just those verses without their context. They lay four blocks to teach the Roman’s Road and build their structure on the blocks. Let us see them.

Block 1 to show every one of us are sinners. They use Romans 3:10 & 23. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: … 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; …

Block 2 to show that the wages of sin is death. Their helicopter lands of Romans 6:23 & 5:12. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; … 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: They will not read the second portion of this verse, and they stop by death by sin.

Block 3 to show that Jesus paid our death on his cross; and so, we do not have to face death. The verse they use is Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Block 4 to show Christ saves us since we have faith. They land on Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. You may refer Acts 2:21, it was from the great tribulation.

Then, they show how to call upon Jesus Christ, and to make sure that if you died today you would go to Heaven. So, let us see the following.

By block one, they will have you admit that you are a sinner. It is done.

By block two they will convince you that your punishment for sin is death. But wait, it is just a fake threat just to wake you up, but it is not the end.

By the third block, they say that if you felt sorry for your sins, just call upon Jesus to save your soul, then Jesus Christ will save you. The job is done.

They show you how to call upon Jesus by block four. It is to pray after them.

Dear Jesus,

Please forgive me of my sins. Today I trust only you Jesus to forgive my sins and to take me to heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me Jesus.

Amen.

Then they say, just as you were born to your parents, you are born into the kingdom of God, as you call on Jesus! The job is done, and it is so easy.

This ROMAN ROAD will take you to hell, but not to heaven. WHY?

Even from the beginning of the chapter, it refers to two group of people; one is the Jews who are of circumcision, and the other group is the disciples who obey God, and it include the Gentiles. The chapter and the references, point to the Jews who are of circumcision, but not to entire humanity. Preachers teach block one, as if it refers to whole humanity, and twist scriptures by perverting its message and meaning. Even though block two is almost true, they again pervert block three and with manufactured lies. They interpret Romans 5:8 in block three, as the whole world was sinning, and Jesus died for the sins of the entire world. But notice, the entire world was not saved. Block four tells us to call upon the name of the Lord, and so they lead people to sinners prayer to be saved, and say, now it is done. It is deception, the way to be saved from sins and to inherit the kingdom of God is entirely different. It is not by helicopter ride through the scriptures.
