19. First 'Second Coming' of Jesus Christ is happening Now.

"Mark 16:15 preach the gospel to every creature. Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe (do) all things whatsoever I (Jesus Christ) have commanded: Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega .. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, .. they .. have right to the tree of life, and .. enter .. the city."

Jesus Christ will come four times. 1: He became God at his ascension, came back to turn us away from iniquities. If he speak to you today, if you hear his voice, harden not your heart. 2: It is the rapture. 3: It is Millennium. And 4: It is end of the world and eternity. All the four are called as the 'second coming'.

Who is God?

God is the one and only omnipotent Spirit. He created all things, from an atom, to the entire universe. Nobody else could create anything from nothing. God has existed from the eternal past, even before creation, and he will exist to the eternal future. God is God, because of these these three facts. This omnipotent Spirit has three persons, or souls in him. They are recorded in the old testament as “the Most High”, “the Word” and “the Spirit of God.” In the new testament, the names of the same three souls are recorded as, “the Father”, “the Son” and “the Holy Ghost.” Jesus Christ is God because he is one of the three persons in the omnipotent Spirit, and his name in the old testament is “the Word” and in the new testament his name is “the Son.”

Jesus Christ was and he is God

If we ask a Christian who God is, he will say that he is Jesus Christ. It is true in one way. God the Father has created all things by Jesus Christ, when he was God the Word. It is past. Let us see the present. In Hebrews 1:6 sayslet all the angels of God worship him. ... 8 But unto the Son God the Father said, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. In verse 9 Holy Ghost endorses him saying Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee ...” So, God the Father and the Holy Ghost had anointed Jesus Christ as God after his ascension. So, he was God before and he is God now. “Philippians 2:10 &11 says, at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, ...” These are the reasons the Lord Jesus Christ is God. Most of all, now he is “the Son” in the omnipotent Spirit body of God. As Christians, if we have a different reason than these reasons for him to be God, that are religious and sentimental for him to be God, then they may be easily persuaded and deceived to accept another Jesus, false Christ, or anti-Christ, as God, without even knowing it.

Let us see about his second coming

Jesus Christ comes for four main events and we refer all of them as "second coming." 1 is to let us hear his voice. 2 is to rapture his church. 3 is to reign in the Millennium. And 4 is to end the world, give a new earth and new heavens to the righteous, and to cast the evil in the lake of fire. So, there are four "second comings." Jesus Christ is with us from his ascension according to Acts 3:26, John 3:16, 1 John 4:9, also Titus 2:13-14. This is his first "second coming" and we will see the details today. Then the next one is that Jesus Christ will raise the dead in him first, catch those who are alive and remain in him, and take them in clouds. This is the next "second coming" and we call it as "the rapture." Churches preach that it may happen even now. But, it will not happen until Satan is revealed, who shows himself as God and is worshipped. According to Bible, Satan will not be revealed for another 300 years. The next one is at the end of the great tribulation. Jews will recognize Jesus Christ as their Messiah and will call upon him to save them. Jesus Christ will come with his saints and reign in the promised land for a thousand years. It will be the third "second coming." It is called the Millennium. Satan will be bound and cast into the bottomless pit. Satan cannot deceive anyone in this time. At his last "second coming," our heavens and earth, which is the present solar system, will be dissolved by fire. Jesus Christ will bring a new earth and new heavens. That day will come as a thief in the night, as men least expect it. However, it will not happen for another 2100 years. Then, Jesus Christ will judge everyone in truth and righteousness, according to their works. The righteous will be taken to heaven, the evil will be cast into hell and then into the lake of fire. This is called the end. These are four second comings. Rapture and the end of the world are very common among evangelical Christians. They preach that these may happen at any time. No, these will not. But one has happened.

Let us see the second coming that has already happened

God the word was made flesh and was sent to the world to die for the sins of the world. He died on the cross and was buried. His final word on the cross was “it is finished.” He has finished his job as a man. God raised him from his death, anointed as God, declared as the begotten Son, and sent him back to the world to turn his people away from their sins and iniquities. And so, Jesus Christ is already here as God. Preachers say that he may come any time, without knowing that he has already come. Acts 3:26 God having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.” As omnipresent God, Jesus Christ is in heaven and on earth. Second Coming of Jesus is here, turning us from our iniquities. “Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Jesus Christ is already here. However, we are looking forward a day that he will come to us, gives us grace and his power, and redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. If we ask him grace and his spirit for his life, he will give to us. If we are diligent, he will give more grace and more power. If we are not following the spirit and grieving the holy spirit, he will be dis-satisfied. However, he will speak to us one day, with a warning or with acceptance. Let us see two verses. “Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” This is rebuke and chastisement. That is, still we have the spirit, but we are not following the spirit. So, Jesus Christ gives us the choice whether to accept him in for the feast of his word for us to follow, or he may just walk away, meaning that the holy spirit will be removed from us. If we feast with him, it will be with his word, spirit, and power, and if we overcome sin, flesh and the world, we will inherit his kingdom. The next scripture is; "Hebrews 3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. 10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. 11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) 12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; 15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation." This is a warning, with an example in the old testament. God has given long time, forty years of warning to the old testament people, but they did not do what God told them to do. So, they all fell. This is a sad example. Then he say, today if ye hear his voice, harden not your hearts. This is a warning after a long time of his patience. If you are a middle aged person, the time is fulfilled in you. God may come to you any day. It is serious. But we are not taking it seriously. If he has not visited you and turned you away from your sins yet, he may visit your soul any day. This is his second coming to you. If you allow him to turn you from iniquities, he will come in you. Instead, if you harden your heart and do not allow him to turn you from iniquities, he will remove the spirit from you and it be the end of your born again life. This is the last warning from God. Take it seriously.

This is for those who serve God in doing his ministry

Matthew 24:43-51 is for the first second coming to those who serve in his ministry with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the gifts. A few parables in Matthew 25:1-30 are also about the first second coming of Jesus Christ and how he deals with the servants of God. If you serve God with the baptism of the Holy Ghost and gifts, please look at these scriptures seriously, and know that Jesus Christ may visit you at any day, if he has not visited you yet. If you are not careful, your spiritual life will come to a screeching halt. Instead, if God finds you as a good servant, it will become more glorious than before.

But he is doing his work in his people now. Ephesians 5:27 says Jesus Christ "might present to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." So, Jesus Christ is converting them to be holy, spotless, without any blemish for himself. Ephesians 2:6 he "hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:" That is, Jesus Christ, pulls them out of sin and has their spirits seated in himself in heaven. As they die, they will sleep in him. Jesus Christ has been doing this work for the last 2000 years.
